The property is in a great location. Close to restaurants and grocery stores and the train station is across the street. The appartment is very roomy and comfortable.

The floors creak constantly and there seems to be problem with the bathroom lights.

The location was perfect, close to the metro station with a couple of supermarkets nearby. Lea (host) was very sympathetic towards what happened and she showed great sympathy. Unfortunately that was about it.

The apartment on the whole was very dirty. The bedsheets were very smelly and it looked like it wasn’t even washed from the last guests. My daughter caught bed bugs from it on the Sunday morning and had rashes all over her legs. There was a bunch of different sized towels that was laid in the bathtub and they too was smelly so we couldn’t even use them. We used a couple for hand towels only. The cups and glasses were stained and didn’t look like they were washed properly. Plates as well were not cleaned. The floor was dusty and had gathered up a lot of dirt. I will now tell you of our experience upon arrival. We arrived at the apartment at approximately 23:30pm. We were a group of 6. Me, my wife, my mother in law and my kids who are 13, 11 and 4 to celebrate my mother in law’s 60th Birthday. When we arrived at the apartment, I followed the instructions to enter the building by putting in a code and to retrieve our apartment keys from the safe. Upon opening the safe, there were no keys inside. There was a broken flap inside so it had looked like someone has broken into the safe already somehow and took the keys. I then attempted to call the host through WhatsApp and when through the French line but to no success. We were stranded. My kids at this point were tired and very grumpy. My 4 year old couldn’t stop crying. We were stranded in the middle of a place where we was not familiar with no place to stay. While my family waited in the reception I walked around looking for hotels that would take us but the 2 hotels nearby were fully booked. We had no car, there were hardly people on the street, it was past 1am and we were cold and helpless. At this point, my wife had taken out our clothes and laid it down on the floor so the kids can lie down and rest. It was a disgusting situation and my wife, who suffers from anxiety and panic attacks couldn’t bare the situation and had a big anxiety attack.
