Love the location/walking distance to beach. Best breakfast omelette!! ♥️😊

Despite some of the bad reviews people have given .. the staff was polite.. room was cleaned everyday .. everyone was friendly and helpful.. some areas are just a little dated but did notice remodeling of rooms going on and it seemed like the housekeepers were going at all times .Reasonably priced , I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels that were far worse .. I would definitely stay again!

Nice, affordable hotel. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was really good as well as the onsite bar/restaurant. Beach was great and you can walk for miles.

The friendly staff were the best part of this hotel. Breakfast needs more healthy options. Renovations are needed such as pool bottom and our room tub bottom both need resurfaced. Sheets have entirely too strong a cheap perfume scent which can bother sensitive people. Housekeeping was hit or miss. Our bathroom sink was only cleaned 1 of 3 days, bed not made one day. Couldnt open the window at night to hear the sea over the constant loud hum of machinery below. Wished we had chosen the Hilton or Marriot next door!

I was expecting the place to look like the photos but was disappointed. There are no chairs on the beach for you to utilize. The property is very worn and is in desperate need of updating. The sign on the back of the room says it's a La Quinta and it's now Sand Rose Beach Resort. There's not much attention to detail. The price was good, happy hour was good, service and cleanliness were good. The best part about the property is its proximity to the beach.

Weather was amazing we got balcony in the second floor in front of the pool I was expecting it to be loud but was very under control , was was clean . Only thing I would complain is the pillows very old and all cluncked up exchas bolas

Nice hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff! The faucet in the tub was loose and should be fixed. When we woke up there was a puddle of water on the floor by the air conditioner.? This was a very convenient location.

My stay at the resort was ok until I started seeing roaches after night 1. When we 1st arrived, I noticed that the property first appears nice in the lobby but upon closer inspection, once in the room, it’s clear that it needs some serious upgrades. Once the bugs started appearing, I wanted to check out immediately but I had already paid through a 3rd party. I would never book here again. However, If you like roaches, this is your place. 😕😒

A nice hotel with extra perks. Right on the beach and next to Clayton’s beach bar. So don’t expect quiet until after the bar closes. Better than most breakfast with made to order omelettes. A few things could be cleaner but overall it was ok. Be aware of the hot water. It was way too hot.

It was a great escape with an ocean view. Noisy at night due to the live bands playing both sides of the hotel. But it’s fine with us, we sleep late. There’s a fireworks also, that was a lovely bonus. It’s an older hotel and also seen 2 crouches in the tub. We told the receptionist about it.

The employees are very friendly, but since the hotel switch from La Quinta to Sand Rose it doesn’t hold up to the same standards. The levels of Clorox almost blinded me. I saw a white cloud for a couple of hours. The pool was freezing. The store is not longer open 24hrs. The pool needs to be painted. The elevator broke and there was no sign. I was there for 10 minutes. The waves were up to the stairs maybe related to the storms on the gulf, but there was no sign and kids wanted to go play. The waves were super strong with debris and super dark. The hotel is pet friendly and restaurant has good prices. La Quinta painted before changing the name and the paint was chipping all ready giving the impression is old. My little daughter called the operator for breakfast hours and I guess they were super busy because they hung up on her. Also I reported room 215 the shower head had issues and they promised to go and check, but they never went. I had a feeling the maintenance personnel was in charge of the pool instead of professionals because when we came home and found my daughters googles they were hard with chlorine dust crust around them

Second time there and we love this place however there was no hot water. We occupied two rooms and both rooms had no hot water on a good note. The breakfast is awesome and the service is awesome and the staff is awesome. On a bad note, I think the bistro at the pool needs an overhaul. We ordered beers and they did not have any of the beers we requested. With all this said, I will probably be back

my stay was okay. the mini fridge in my room did not work. the ice machine on my floor was out of order & the bathtub had some random grayish black marks in it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean hotel, clean room and rhe breakfast was awesome.

Hotel was well situated with beach access and a pool. Breakfast offered omelets made on the spot. Beds were very firm. I did see two little bugs at night in the bathroom. When I reported this to the receptionist she offered to send someone up to spray right away.

We went for our anniversary trip, enjoyed the stay, would actually recommend that you have hooks outside on the balcony for wet bathing suits or towels. And no good place to put your used towels from your shower, but those are not ‘major’ but would’ve been convenient!! The room was beautiful and the view was mostly great!! Thank you!

Me and my family had a great stay there. I love that the hotel is by the beach literally five minutes walking distance, which was a huge plus. Breakfast was a 10 out of 10 food was delicious. The staff was also amazing. We got Starbucks in the hotel building and the server was great with answering any questions that I had, even questions that were not drink related. The only downfall that I kind of found was the cleanliness of the room. I felt that our restroom was still kind of dingy, and not clean properly. I also noticed that we only had one towel for the restroom when there was a total of four people staying in the room. And when I went down to asked for more, they only really had was pool towels. But other than that, the stay was amazing; will more likely be going back soon.

Everything was great except for people on top of our room were make alot of noice and people in the hallway screaming in the hallway happy birthday around 10 pm. No one from the hotel desk did nothing about it. I had to go to the front desk to complian.
