The online photos of the property seemed as if its one house right on the lake and yet there are multiple that you have to share the area with. There's nowhere to keep a trailer on the property which was upsetting, and the sofa and bed were extremely uncomfortable which caused us to cut our trip short by one day

This place is beautiful. Near lots of attractions and great food places. Inside was very well decorated and put together Lake was beautiful as well. With a nice little beach next store. This place is perfect. Will be back very soon for a longer stay.

Clean, cozy and comfortable. It was too cold for us to utilize the kayaks and the beach this time of year but the area would be perfect for summer fun! My husband came to fish. The American Legion has public boat ramp you can use for a daily fee and it was within a few miles from the cottage. Also lots of great places to eat nearby. Fox Family restaurant has an amazing breakfast and lunch menu! If we are up in this area again I'd definitely book here again!

You will love this cozy lake front apartment! This small yet cozy apartment will have everything you need! Situation with right on the the chain, you will find you are steps away from a peaceful and relaxing waterfront view! The property has more than enough sitting spaces and fire pits to enjoy and evening with friends and family! I highly recommend giving this apartment a stay. Five stars *****

They just hit an insurance company for 500 plus dollars claiming damage. Which I had for coverage. I just happened to open up the email from the company. I'm so glad I video taped everything as I always do when I stay ant a rental. This is absolutely scandalous.

It was very very clean. Amenities were very nice inside. What was very disappointing was it is extremely small. Maybe 300 ft.². Queen bed has to be shoved against the wall in order to fit into the bedroom. Shower is so small if you are even a little overweight you absolutely cannot shower in it Very tiny windows. Extremely closed in feeling. Pictures make it look like it is much bigger than it is. Tiny little porch sits on a gravel driveway. You cannot see the lake unless you go outside to walk down the gravel road.

This property was our last stop before returning home from a 4-week road trip. It was the cleanest, most comfortable property we visited during our trip. It is obvious that the owner takes care of this cottage. And it was the first VRBO property we've ever stayed at that we didn't feel the need to clean before unpacking. Thanks Mark!

My children and I had a blast here. The kayaks and beach were a hit! The fact that roller skating was just around the corner made our work end! E we will definitely want to stay again

My family and I needed a relaxing get away from the city and this place hit the spot. Property manager was there to greet us as we pulled in and gave us a tour of the property. My kids spent the entire time at the little beach next to the cabin, and from our short time there, it was one of the only areas were kids could wade in and swim. The provided kayaks were a huge hit. The cabin itself is recently renovated and very nicely done. We look forward to booking a return trip in the near future!

I highly recommend this location! My wife and I live in Chicago and we just needed a little place to get away and relax. Only an hour away from the city and amazing few of the lake was just what we needed. The property manager was great. They were even kind enough to drop off some beach toys for our 3 year old daughter without us even asking. We also liked that there was an abundance of walking trails within 15 minutes of the house. Six Flags and Gurnee is very close as well. We will definitely stay there again if we ever need another break from city life.
