The room was comfortable and large enough. The food was great and the breakfast was good value. In the middle of the town and close to everywhere The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great array of drinks especially Gin

This is a very quirky place; a rabbit warren of different areas, containing interesting items. My room was small, but adequate. The bed was comfortable. On the first night croissants were provided. Breakfast is not included. Good coffee and tea making facilities were available. The staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. Felt relaxed and at home. Loved it.

The coffee and tea facilities were not topped up. No further croissants. The room wasn't cleaned nor the bed made up whilst I was out. I did notice a box of clean towels outside my door and wondered why. In retrospect, maybe there was only one key to the room, and I was carrying it, so nobody could enter to service the room. There were a few health and safety issues especially in the bathroom: a crack in the wash basin, and I stubbed my toe a couple of times. The TV took some working out and I couldn't find the password for the Wi Fi anywhere in the bedroom. I obtained the password by asking and later saw it pinned up on the patio. I expected from what I had read that toiletries were provided, but there was only handwash. These are only little quibbles and didn't spoil my stay; in fact it made me smile.l
