Used as a stopover between Sydney and Melbourne. Fine for somewhere to sleep and continue our trip the next morning.

A good place to stay overnight. Compact room but has everything needed. Check in was electronic but very easy. Good bed and shower.

Was very clean & well maintained. Everything in excellent condition.

Checkin process via an sms with instuctions to access room was excellent - efficient and simple.

This property is very convenient to the CBD and in particular the Serviceman’s club. Only a short distance to a good selection of hotels where a meal can be had. The room was small, although clean and comfortable, however the road noise was horrendous. Every truck or car that went past was audible in the room making an uncomfortable night. Check-in was unique as a code was sent by SMS with a room allocation. We never saw anyone from the property at all.

Where is the EV charger

Very dated. Not very soundproof rooms, could hear the people in the adjoining rooms talking, coughing and moving around all night. Wooden floor under carpet creaks badly. Noisy internal ac unit in room. There was some god-awful smell in the room, not sure if it was the cleaning products used or what. It was there and just didn’t go away. No plug in the sink, no one on-site to ask for one.

I was there less than 10 mins after sunset. No staff onsite. I had to borrowed a phone from a lady (and husband) whom was also waiting to checkin. The hotel staff on the phone kept asking me the 5-digit passcode. Apparently they won’t accept the Expedia number. She refused to grant me my riom details. I had to borrowed the same lady’s husband to make a second call as they had to go to their room #17 first. Eventually, the online staff gave me the door passcode for room 2 where I stayed for a night. Till this day, I have never received any emails from them.

The property is clean and the code checkin is very convenient. Cost was fair and reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient. However the property is very dated and would benefit from a good renovation. Carpark is substandard dirt and gravel, and parking bays are not defined. We arrived late at night and found the space left by other guests in front of our room could not fit even the tiniest of cars and certainly not our SUV. Our only choices were to park in front of another vehicle (problem for early departure), park up the street (highly inconvenient), or disturb other guests to move their vehicles a little (there was plenty of room for them to do so).

Great hotel on the way to Sydney from Melbourne, clean, microwave toaster & hot water was a plus free internet with TV perfect for 2 ~ Easy automatic check in this was the easiest booking GREAT communication from the owners ~ Will stay again this was perfect Quiet Bed comfortable and CLEAN

Close to shops and easy to find. The room was super clean, neat and tidy. The shower and amenities were excellent and the queen-sized bed was very comfortable. I'll stay here again on my next trip!

Older style motel but clean and comfortable. Very close walking distance to shops. Very easy check in with electronic door codes sent to us earlier.

The outside lights left on by each door made sleeping very difficult We left at 5.45am

It ticked my most important needs - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good water pressure. It was a very small room, had no drawers or bench space you could use, so for me, it was fine for an overnight stay, but not for longer.

As an overnight stop after a long day's driving, the Gundagai Motel had everything I needed. Simple tidy room, a very comfortable and well and snugly-made bed, and a nice hot shower, with shops, pub and cafes a short walk away. Check-in and -out was simple and no fuss, but keep your phone handy for the SMS if you don't remember your door code. Room 30 is a little hidden gem to find though, but as it is away from most of the other rooms, it was extra private. Will stay there again if passing through.

Is close to all amenities. Walk up the main street for pubs, shops and supermarket.

Ease in accessing the place/motel despite very late arrival, no hassle. AC was already on prior to arrival which was a big convenient especially during these moment of hot weather.

Cost of the stay was inexpensive and on arrival found the property, clean and extremely well maintained. Was checked in automatically before I arrived and was texted prior to arrival with a code to access my room. Easy and no hassle

quiet, clean and comfortable, but almost no cutlery, only teaspoons, 2 cups and glasses. don't think about eating in.. ;-)
