Very nice, very comfortable. Wonderfully remote. Only the coffee maker and the sugar bowl were not clean. Everything else was clean.

Good afternoon, I just wanted to let y’all know that I checked out about 9:20AM, I picked up & cleaned up a bit. It was wonderful to be able to complete my stay with y’all. I appreciate the care, kindness, understanding and concern that yall extended towards me to insure that my stay was as comfortable, convenient and peaceful as can be. Although, I had work to do, I was able to center myself and silence my mind for a bit. I will certainly re-visit if I’m ever back in the neighborhood again. I will pass y’all onto my friends and family about this beautiful & peaceful place too… As for Lula the tiny RV, well, she’ll have to be at peace on her own 😂 Thank you🙏

Everything was good, except the smell of the property and the smell of the sheets. Would probably not go back.

Sharing the kitchen and living room with upstairsguests was awkward. The yard and decks were unkept and looked like a horror movie set. Outdoor furniture was rotten and unusable. Management should invest in a leaf blower. The place has potential. If I was to stay again I would rent the entire place so to have privacy. were unkept

Everything was nice and clean.

We tried to like this property and just couldn't. Through Expedia, it said nothing about staying alongside other guests and sharing the kitchen and living room. Our group was three young women and we were so uncomfortable staying somewhere where we had no clue who was staying downstairs under us. The kitchen cabinets were full of medication from, I assume, the past owners, the shower curtain in our upstairs space was just a cloth with no liner so water went everywhere. The cleaning lady came without us knowing ahead of time, so we could have put our items away for safety. There was no light at all to assist in getting you up the hill at night. It just wasn't what we wanted or felt comfortable with. I hate even writing this because we know it's a smaller business and don't want to hurt their business, but also don't want others to experience what we did.

The property was far out of town and not clean . The facility was older and the bathroom was outside the room although it was advertised as having a private bathroom. We left and paid an outrageous cost for a hotel .

Spent the day at Schlitterbahn and didn’t have the energy to drive home to San Antonio so we booked the first available room nearby. Didn’t know what to expect when driving up there but we couldn’t be more happy upon entering the property. This home is luxurious and thoughtfully decorated, we felt like we were on a movie set! the location is somewhat remote and perfect for a little getaway. We will definitely be back!

This review is for the Blue house. This place is awesome and the best deal imaginable for your the money you will pay, but here is a few things not stated you should know: It sits on a beautiful secluded, multi-acre lot all by itself so its super-private! It has a nice sized fenced backyard for pet and covered carport for your car. Stone firepit in the front for a campfire so don't forget your wood. Entry is a gravel road - fine for most cars, but i wouldn't try it with a corvette. The house itself is older with some wear but everything was clean and included all the linen/utensils you need for a trip. ICE-COLD AC!! - Queen bed was large and super comfy memory foam which was good for problematic hips! - Gas stove worked fine but needs a lighter/matches so make sure you bring one incase its missing. - No TV, but who cares. - Its about 5 miles from town/ TXST, but the drive is fun and beautiful! - Its in the woods so there are bugs outside....lots of them (spiders, walking sticks, cicadas). Oddly [and thankfully] no mosquitos or flies! Bring a can of backyard fogger and spray around doors/patio to prevent that awkward encounter and chicken dance when stepping outside. We have a new TXST student and this will be our go-to place whenever we come to visit!

The walls for the bungalow are thin. Like "we heard you sneeze last night, and based on this morning, you might have IBS" thin. The kitchen is a common space, but there's no microwave, and many of the available applianves have not been cleaned in some time. Great place to sleep and go do stuff. Not great to spend a whole day in.

This was a fun place to stay while visiting the area. We especially loved being so close to the disc golf course.

Loved the stay, simple cozy house in the woods. Wild flowers all around! Clean well water!

Super peaceful and a place to just connect. No TV, was
