All the rooms were clean and well presented.

The heating and hot water did not work due to lack of gas. There was no instruction pack to advise that site reception could be contacted in emergency to resolve the issue and also how to start the heating systems which was manually off. Eventually found out how to change over gas bottles outside, which was very difficult at night in torrential rain. One of glasses was contaminated with some sort of coloured paint, so looked at all the glasses; some had only been washed superficially, maybe by previous guests. Sharp knives and cutlery mixed in same drawer which is a hazard for children.
