The AC is really bad or did not work in the room we were in. There is a super bright light on the light switch that does not turn off. Really really bright.

We arrived around 1pm, got into our room, and something came up around 5pm in DC and we needed to cut our trip short. We left before we stayed the night.

Good location. Staff was nice. Breakfast attendant was outstanding. Breakfast food was good. Needed medicine but the hotel supply cabinet was out. Room description said we had a microwave but we didn’t so we had to eat out more often rather than heating up leftovers. That was disappointing. Overall ok stay.

Craig at the front desk was the consummate professional and was very helpful and attentive to our every need… thank you Craig!!

The hotel is in excellent condition, with lovely decor that is classic with modern accents. It was a very easy walk to the riverfront and dining. Staff as professional and helpful. I never heard anyone else while in our room. The price was reasonable for a nice place with breakfast.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located within walking distance of many historic sites. The walk to the parking garage is not far at all. I was very pleased with my stay.

Adorable entry and lobby. Small but cozy and comfortable room. Excellent staff. Perfectly located. Love it! We are in Philly enroute home and made a quick one night stop so my son could see the Bell etc. Could not be better located and he became a US history buff overnight!

You couldn't ask for a better location. The free hot breakfast & room fridge was convenient. They had cookie in the afternoon & on Wednesdays they have a wine/cheese options too. There is always coffee/tea/iced lemon water available in the lobby too. Great place 👍👍

Hotel is located in a less touristy area of Old Town, with the most popular attractions being a couple blocks away. Although the parking is located off premises, the hotel does a great job of explaining the location and process. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly.

Very nice property. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Within walking distance to many historic sites as well as plenty of dining options as well as the riverfront area. We would definitely stay here again.

Call the hotel before you book to make sure the room you’re selecting is correct. I had selected a double queen room and when I got there they said that room doesn’t exist. They gave us a tiny room with a double bed in it. I had to pay an extra $30/night for a room with 2 double beds in it. I raised the issue with Expedia (which took over an hour and a half on my first night there) and they did not agree to refund me the difference. The hotel said it is Expedia’s fault that they had the description and photos wrong. So just check what you’re getting!! Other than that, the hotel is lovely. It is in the perfect spot for accessing all of the historical sights by foot. It is also central to many dining options and even the CVS on Market Street. The location is just perfect if you’re there to explore the history of Philadelphia. It is very clean, and the staff were mostly very polite and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day and it’s open until 10am so you don’t have to get up super early if that’s not your thing. There was always ice water with lemon in the lobby which was so welcome after a day of exploring in the summer heat. They also have cookies in the afternoon and on Wednesdays there’s wine and cheese which was a lovely treat. Aside from the initial mixup with the room rate, I don’t have anything bad to say about the hotel.
