Beach Terrace offers 48 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature iPod docking stations and laptop-compatible safes. Exceeded expectations. Microwave available on request. Games for rent at the front were fun, the breakfast offering was cute, and very delicious. It’s not a hot breakfast, but by far the best and most “curated” one I’ve had. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Amazing location and very friendly staff! They honestly have thought of any all needs you may have while staying there. Highly recommend and would book there again.

I only stayed one night but it is an amazing, beachfront hotel in very quiet neighborhood. Felt like a local, as hotel was tucked nicely between homes. Great parking. Complimentary fresh water and fruit juices available in decanters in the lobby. Hotel rooms are extremely quiet. Poolside firepits are a great touch for relaxing in the evening. They have plenty of towels stored outdoors for pool or beach use. Plus beachchairs with umbrellas on the sand. Only issue was having trouble latching my room door. I had to pull hard to ensure it closed so I could lock it. They kindly allowed late checkout...you just have to ask on the morning of departure. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property with unbeatable location and top-notch amenities like the pool and beach valet. The only drawback was the spotty Wi-Fi connection, which occasionally dropped, though speed was not an issue. This would lower my rating to 4.75 stars, as the resort is otherwise ideal for couples and families seeking a beach getaway.

This place is absolutely wonderful, we got an ocean king, and it was just gorgeous. The views did not disappoint, the room Very spacious. Very nice hotel with an access to the beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Wonderful and friendly staff. Overall had a very relaxing weekend. Will definitely be back!

Excellent beach view upgraded motel with large comfortable rooms and good service
Could use a bar and restaurant even if only a snack shop—bar most definitely as nearby bars are very noisy
A great choice to stay in that part of North County San Diego

Our only complaint for this property was the WiFi. Rarely worked for us. However, the rooms were large and comfortable, We had a partial ocean view and we could see much more of the ocean than expected. The breakfast was also a great start to the day.
