Stayed here from the 21st-24th of August and then booked again 30th - 31st of August prior to our flight home.
The hotels lobby and restaurant area are very modern and clean.
Staff were always helpful and friendly.
Restaurant is good quality food and drinks and brilliant service for both breakfast and evening meal.
We had a basic room and it was a little dated but it was clean on both occasions. Enough plugs and lights etc.
The outdoor area of the hotel is good for children, there are games to play eg badminton and connect 4 and plenty of seats. The pool area is clean but there are loose patio slabs and the steps come right out of the concrete - needs sorting for safety but otherwise the children enjoyed the pool and the hotel provide pool towels too.
The only the other thing about the outside area is the amount of mosquitos - I know this is out of the hotels control but I’m mentioning it to ensure you use mosquito protection at all times because I had over 30 bites within an hour of being outside.
The hotel is 2 stops away from the airport - Tram line A. This line also takes you straight into the city centre so the convenience of the hotel is perfect for stopover for airport or a cheaper option to explore the city centre.

Totally exceeded our expectations, a fabulous family hotel, we are already planning to stay a little longer next time so that we can hang out here and explore Bordeaux before moving on. The only reason it wasn’t five stars across-the-board was because one of the kids beds had three slats missing, which we didn’t find out until the morning when the mattress had disappeared into the bed! we were too much of a rush to report it though, I’m sure they would’ve dealt with it very well, service was excellent with everything else!

Couldnt get a decent nights sleep as there was a constant humming from the vents and it wasnt my air con as it was switched off. The room I had was very spacious but the sockets looked a bit dated. After that the maids did a great job and the resturant staff was vety friendly!

Great hotel, restaurant and reasonable room size for our family of 4. There were wood pieces missing from the slatted wood base of one of the single beds. Glad that due to my daughter size, she was able to sleep laying on the opposite side.

Wonderful stay …very comfortable. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that the room attendants shouldn’t have missed but that didn’t detract from the great stay

Really nice hotel with fantastic facilities. Great base to explore the centre of Bordeaux. Team stop right outside the hotel. 2 stops one way to the airport and then around 20 minutes the other way straight into the centre of Bordeaux.
Pool really nice and lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as one on site.

Staff were nice. Room was basic. No coffee in room was disappointing. Breakfast was very poorly organised and overly full. No food left, no plates, dirty tables.
Pool was overtaken by a large group of loud ball punching and bomb diving twenty yr olds, leaving familes and singles not being able to utilise the pool comfortably.
Dinner was expensive and very busy.

Money missing from my room. Hotel management asked if I wanted room cleaned, I didn't need.
Room was cleaned, Management did not know why it was cleaned.

We were surprised to see all the changes at the Novotel. They have massively redecorated and it looks very nice. However, check in is sketchy...someone with a laptop computer and a mobile phone who isn't always at the desk. The bar didn't turn the lights on until 6:00 pm. They had trouble finding the available room configuration we booked. The restaurant is good. Breakfast was adequate but not great. What French breakfast doesn't have several choices of cheese! They have also stopped having a shuttle to the airport and the taxi we booked through the hotel the night before arrived quite late. In the end we shared it with another couple because theirs didn't arrive. The taxi charged €30 for about a two mile trip to the airport. We will use this hotel again because it is close to the airport and it's nice to have a good restaurant right on site, but they have a few problems they should solve. Since they are so close to the airport and get a lot of business from people who need to go to the airport, they really should provide a shuttle.

Convenient and modern hotel with parking. Table tennis hammocks and other outdoor games a hit with the kids. Would have got 5 stars if restaurant offered more vegetarian choice and restaurant staff weren’t grumpy!

Not the best Novotel we've stayed. Room was a bit disappointing in terms of cleaness and not much difference from budgets hotels that we stayed on. Linens were smelly with a very stained carpet. Bathroom was also not very well cleaned. Only one corridor and one floor so pretty much everyone has to walk through the same way. Breakfast was good but bit expensive and the restaurant looked good with a nice outdoor area.

Very poor front desk service. Worst of any Novotel I’ve ever stayed in.

J’ai passé 2 nuits dans cet établissement.
Les lits pour enfants sont très juste au niveau literie.
Les moquettes sont aussi à revoir.
Des bouteilles sont restées devant la porte d’une chambre 1 jour et demi ainsi qu’un plateau repas devant une autre chambre.
L’extérieur est agréable avec sa piscine, son potager, sa poule.
