The hotel is really nice has very nice ambience. We were able to walk up and down along the river to the old town. The tram is running every five minutes so it’s very convenient. Really nice charming city breakfast was great. Not sure about the other dining options because we didn’t there.
Not sure about going to the casinos is a good idea because it just has rooms and rooms of slot machines of every kind kind of depressing only a few tables. So if you’ve been to Las Vegas, don’t bother to go to the casino.

Very nice hotel but there were no windows worth a mention.
There was one for namesake that looked into a covered utility area that did not let in any light. So close that others could peer into your room.
Had to keep the window closed.

Property was nice & clean. Reception staff very polite, friendly & very helpful in guiding us on exploring Bern. Tram 9 stops just across the road from Swissotel and takes you to old town & Bern train station making it very convenient to travel.

Location is excellent, tram stop right out the front door, and Marketgasse shopping in an easy walk. The room is very comfortable with luxurious amenities, nespresso in room. We paid for the breakfast, which is costly, but the best breakfast we enjoyed anywhere on our trip! Bern is a lovely city many travelers miss.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and great location. The floors are a bit light and we could hear a heavy walker in the room above us but not too bad. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will consider coming back for future visits.
