Very disappointed for 4.5 star hotel .
The room was comfortable however furnishings were old needs revamping. Had to ask for slippers was told not available when told to see the manager slippers turned up in the room . Had to request twice for bath gowns. Television not working sound picture disappearing . Breakfast room dirty tables and cloth seats dirty stains etc . Needless to say very disappointed

We were unable to get a booking for the restaurant in spite of a large portable advertising sign advertising the restaurant outside the front of the hotel. Suggested the sign should be removed and advice from hotel staff was that “there are plenty of places outside the hotel to eat”!
Staff were very dismissive and none were wearing name tags.
Room very tired.
Overall very disappointing and not a great introduction to Canberra.

Smelt terribly, had issues with lifts not working, car park roller door stopped working. Overpriced for an outdated hotel room. Will not stay again

We walked into our room to a bandaid in the bathroom only to them discover our balcony door didn’t lock (with 2 young children with us). We got moved to another room. Rooms were out dated and basic. Bedding average with uncomfortable pillows. The included breakfast was decent however managed to score myself a cup covered in lipstick so not washed properly. The pool are was was good. Despite the drama the staff was friendly and apologetic but I expect a lot more when I’m paying what I did for the Novotel brand. Over priced for the experience we had.

There was no parking available for guests so we had to park a few blocks away and lug our luggage through Canberra streets. The pool was not clean nor heated.
Very bad experience this time around z we won’t be staying there again.

there was no toothbrush and toothpaste. Could not charge my phone because the property did not have USB-c. Staff offered free parking for a customer before me, but the different staff who checked me in, charged for the parking.

Overall our stay was pleasant, the only downfall is parking, not enough spaces even though you have to pay per day, and it is t cheap, there is no guarantee a space, you then have to park at another car park at a different location and walk back to the hotel with all your luggage.

Bed and pillows hard. Room didnt have sheets for pull put couch even though we had 4 guests. Took 24s hrs for them to deliver some. Same for pillows and towels. Customer services mixed. App for room service failed took money, and then tried to charge it to room. Only told of limited payed parking the day off. Parked 2 blocks away first night.

Nice hotel, lovely amenities. Unfortunately their parking situation is terrible. No parking spaces available so we had to park 3 blocks away… and we have a newborn. Not sure why this is.

Room cleaning service only on day 3 after expressly asking for it. Hallway was never cleaned during our stay. Beds were ripped. Very limited car parking on site so we had to park in a car park offsite. Restaurant was good. Breakfast could do with more variety at the buffet, e.g. only one type of cheese, no margarine and no interesting breads such as sourdough was provided.
