I am surprised this is a 5-star hotel. While the swimming pool area is well-equipped and the water slide was very popular with my son, there were several issues which sadly stopped this being the perfect stay. The hotel itself is in need of updating. In my opinion, a 5-star hotel should not have toilets with loose seats and cistern lids, both of which mine had. The shampoo had not been refilled in the shower, the carpet had old food on it and the wardrobe doors and bed frame had smears of what also appeared to be food of some sort - it really did not seem that the room had been cleaned at all (for a while). I was eligible for an upgrade with my booking but was told at check-in that there were none available. I checked on the website and there did seem to be availability. The pool area is good but there are pigeons everywhere and the bottom of one of the pools was really dirty. My son is a strong swimmer and wanted to practise his technique but we were unable to use the only suitable pool because it's adults-only, which I don't recall seeing advertised at all when I booked. We were aggressively told by a lifeguard to get out as soon as we got in - we were the only people in there and were just quietly swimming. The breakfast is great with a lot of variety, and the service at the poolside bar was very friendly. Overall we had a decent stay but it was not the 5-star hotel I was expecting.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff is very friendly as well the facilities very clean. I felt the staff wanted to ensure we had a great time and well taken care of. The pool area and aqua activities for kids was fun such as slides and a large water play activity. The kids club “the treehouse” was nicely equipment.

Wonderful property and staff.

The room was well designed, good light, comfortable, with a beautiful view. The food in the executive lounge was excellent with good service. My favorite hotel feature is the swimming pool. Extremely clean and enjoyable for swimming laps or relaxing.

Excellent for family
