I stayed the weekend to visit Salem. It was the closest I could find. I thought it was totally absurd that they charged for parking. This one petty thing means I will never go there again. They should never charge people who are paying a premium for that.

This was a nice hotel with a restaurant attached and a Starbucks just a short walk away. Hotel staff was generally nice. There was a shuttle available for pickup and drop off to the airport.

The walls were paper thin, we could hear EVERYTHING and every word being said on the room next door, even the tv which the guests that checked out at 4:00 am (pilots) left on since 3:00 am until housekeeping turn it off around 10:00 am never again I was there 2 days and on both days the same problem, paid $700 for this no thank you

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and because it boasts a 24-hour shuttle. Unfortunately, they don’t reserve the shuttle, it only runs every 30 minutes, and it was so full at 3:30AM that we weren’t able to take advantage of it and had to pay for an Uber to get us to the airport on time. Just something to keep in mind if you’re looking at hotels with free shuttle service.

We spent the night bacause we had a early flight out. It was nice, clean and comfortable. Loved that it had a restaurant attached that stayed open late. Great comfortable rides to and from the airport. Breakfast started at 6:00, but we had to leave at 5:30. So since we wouldn't be there for breakfast....they had out bakery items, water and coffee for the early birds. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel and staff. They even had a staff member prepare the waffles at the free breakfast buffet!

Pros: Very clean. Convenient shuttle to airport and South Station. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Cons: Room lighting too dim although bathroom lighting fine. Carpeting worn; wear and tear on wallpaper and trim but not terrible.

At first we thought the hotel was all right for a stopover after arriving at the airport. The room was clean and the bed OK. There isn't much in the area around the hotel, but it was all right for what it was, if a bit expensive. However, when the drinks vending machine charged our credit card and didn't dispense the water we were assured by the man on reception that our card would be credited back in a few days. When this didn't happen the hotel refused to help, saying the machines were operated by a third party. I asked them to pass my message on to their vendor, but they wouldn't do it and told me to call them myself. But as an overseas visitor I would probably spend more on the phone call than the $6 I was trying to get back.So 0/10 for customer service. The only reason they get one star rather than zero is because the airport shuttle driver was good.

Only problem was that room air conditioner was as noisy as a 747 at takeoff.
