The room was right upstairs from a noisy party, at times music was loud enough that a metal table in the room was vibrating.
Was unable to sleep from the noise, no chan ce to complain as the reception was closed.
I highly advice not to book a room here, probably especially on weekends, probably the worst experience I ever had staying at any hotel, it was really tough getting through the following workday with no sleep.

The shower was gross and had a lot of black mold on the shower curtain and on the tile. One of the beds for the kids was on the floor. Maybe the legs broke. That bed was also broken so that something hard was in my daughters back

3rd floor rooms were small and difficult to move around in due to angled ceilings. Paint could use some touch ups. Social areas and pool tables were enjoyed by kids in our family. Food was quite good and people were very nice.

One of the worst experiance ever. It was 30 degrees and no Air Condition, room towards the street with lots of trafic so it was not posible to open the window. the room was small and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. This is a B&B standard for €60 not a €120. If there would be a way to ask for a refund I would do that

I visited Skjalm Hvide many times and enjoyed every single stay. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant serves great food.

Upon arrival we heard there would be a wedding and thus there was only one menu, 3 courses.
2out of 3 dishes were ok but veal maincourse was below decent.
Breakfast was okish, bit chaotic bcs of set up, unexpierenced staff and guests moving around, good coffee though!

Hotel has a motel type of experience. Work in progress on the grounds which will look good when finished. Very pleased that they provided very nice gluten free rolls for me.

I came by car. There were two weddings in the hotel, so the small parking lot was full. But it was not difficult to park nearby. The rooms are all in the ground floor around an internal area. The room decoration, with old stuff, creates a cozy atmosphere.
In the breakfast, there was a table reserved for our room. I think people from the weddings were still there and the breakfast rooms were full.
Without a GPS, it would be difficult for a foreigner find easily the hotel, mainly at night, returning from Viking performance and St Hans celebration at Frederikssund.
