Nice place, great view on the St-Laurence River. Easy to go to the Casino by the underground tunnel. Superb Gym! Pool, spa, outdoor heated pool… everything is awsome.

One night stay while visiting family in the region. Always beautiful, especially waking up on a sunny day; the view of the St Laurent river is spectacular. Very peaceful. Careful with wheelchair accessible room, I called prior to make sure we had the one room only. I was told that yes, our room was accessible. It wasn’t the room, although we could enter the room, the bathroom wasn’t accessible with a wheelchair and not enough space for transfers. The staff on duty, was great and help us find a room that would suit our needs.

All good except for doorman and bellmen at arrival and departure , completely absent ! We carried our luggage and parked our car ! No one to greet , say goodbye or offered to help! Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel ! Also, because we arrived much earlier , our room was not ready, (which we expected already and were ok with it ) but we were told by reception check in clerk we would be notified by text or email when ready ! Had time to store our luggage with bellman , go out to town for lunch , visited the facilities , then came back and waited in lobby until 5 PM ! The message never came ! ! 1 hour past check-in time of 4:00 PM! Then again had trouble getting my luggage back from bellman ( absent again ) who had given us a luggage claim coupon used usually for golfers , but we were not golfers ! Reception clerk took care of it ! It was clear to us that normal occasional travellers were not treated the same as the regular golf members! But that’s only our impression maybe ! However that’s still our impression ! Besides that, Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu is a beautiful , historical building , with great views of sun rise over the Saint -Laurent River ! Our room was comfortable , clean and had a great view! Shower was a little weak ! No water in fridge upon arrival ! Didn’t feel like eating at hotel ! Local restaurants are excellent and overall it was a beautiful drive all around with river and mountains views and local villages !

Beautiful historical resort! Enjoyed our few days! The food was delicious golf was great and the views were spectacular!

We had booked advising the hotel - that we had a small - 8 lb dog. We asked to sit on the patio with our well behaved dog for dinner. We were informed quite rudely by a male staff - absolutely not. 10 minutes prior the gentleman at reception who checked us in - said that we would be welcome to sit outside with our pet for dinner. Same conversation with the unpleasant staff downstairs in the restaurant. The location is beautiful at this hotel. We had room service and the food was average. We will not forget how rude the staff were to us. Definitely the most unpleasant Fairmont experience we have had.
