Molly was amazing when we checked in. She was extremely helpful and suggested places for us to go as no one in our party is from Birmingham. She was welcoming and friendly and is an asset to the hotel. All 4 of us were in one room and there was plenty of space. The room was clean. Great place to stay!

Appreciated the hotel staff came round in person to keep guests informed and hotel provided free drinks for unforeseen inconvenience outside their control.

Excellent weekend stay. All staff were incredibly friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Reception organised free drink for mums birthday which was greatly appreciated at the end of a busy day.
There was also plenty of parking and lovely breakfast.

Everything was first class from parking in the car park to checking out. The staff were courteous, polite and extremely helpful at all times. The evening meal was delicious with good portion sizes and the breakfast was my favourite. A full english cooked to perfection, not like the dry stale food you get at budget hotels!! Overall, a fantastic stay and id return again if required. I highly recommend!

Good breakfast, lots of choice, plenty of seating and tables cleared quickly.
Bed very hard. Pillows flat, even with two they didn’t provide adequate support for head.

Check in was not good
We were given a room with two single beds and only found out when we went to room. Requested a standard room as that’s what we had booked and told they was none. Then after making a fuss the guy found a room. Guy at reception didn’t seem bothered with what he is doing :

Stay was great,
Parked my car right out side the front of the hotel, i could see it from the check in desk.
When i came down in the morning someone had stolen my tow bar! security not so good. Asked for the CCTV and was told only released to the police, no point calling the police as they only work for money these days. So my one night cost me an extra £250.00

Excellent hotel we would recommend it to anyone highly recommend. But the complimentary room coffee tastes not good you need to look at a better coffee.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the NEC. Lots of restaurants nearby and lovely view of the lake. Also nice bar area.

Excellent stay, however our key cards kept getting deactivated by NEC metal detectors, and we had to keep going down to reception to reactivate them. It would be useful for the entrances to have signs notifying guests that if they have visited the NEC they should get their cards reset at reception before trekking to their rooms.

We arrived early for an event nearby. I went into the hotel to let them know I was in the carpark and was given the room key, this was at 11.30 AM check in was not until 3. Bonus.

Entrance to the hotel looked really clean and 5*. Room was a little dated, the bed was too hard (personal preference) and the walls thin. The staff were very friendly on check in and out.

Perfect location with 5 star amenities. Staff were super hospitable particularly Matthew at the front desk who went out of his way to help us. A great experience in all !
