Although there was maintenance work being undertaken in the carpark, alternative entry/exit arrangements were made. The room was spotless, the shower hot and refreshing and the bed very comfortable. And the staff were very friendly and always had a smile!

The motel is close to town and all facilities. The walk to town or down to Port Echuca is quite nice. Must sees in Echuca are the National Holden Museum and the Great Aussie Beer Shed.

Had a great stay at the Paddlewheel. Convenient to everything we wanted to do & within walking distance so we didn’t need to drive!

The location was convenient for where we needed to be however the room for the price was very underwhelming.
Entering the room it didn’t smell fresh or sanitized but musty.
The shower screen had considerable mould build up.
The TV channels worked intermittently, sound without picture or pixelated.
We were not advised of any Covid protocol measures in place, which was from the onset with the reception check in not wearing a mask. Housekeeping were not wearing masks either.

Great place to stay close to town and shopping. Would be better with less tourists as parking was at a premium specially when one room had more than one car but can help inconsiderate people. Besides that i would and most likely stay there again when I visit friends whom live there.

Basically clean except that a few bugs were found on the beds when we arrived, a tiny dead mosquito, a living spider in same size and a dead moth, surprising but not really really bad.
Many mosquito sneaked into the bathroom chasing for the neon light at night.
Power socket is right above bedhead, funny position.
