Basic room, clean except the freezer drip tray was full of water and needed cleaning. Just out of town, so a 20 minute walk or a taxi ride to the Soldier’s Club for a nice dinner.

Hot water great, Bathroom was small but adequate. Plenty of parking and close to town

We had to travel for a family emergency and were unsure of the destination which was updated at 3.30 pm as Sydney, travelling from sourh of Melbourne. Hopped online and found this place in Yass available which fit in with our daily drive limit. Rang to advise we would arrive between 8.30 and 9pm after reception hours and a key was arranged. 12.5 hr drive and 1,000 odd km we arrived to our room, heater was on, electric blankets on, parking outside room. We only needed a bed for the night so it fit the bill. Not 5 star, and I usually prefer a king bed but the bed sufficed. Rain all night continued as it had all day which was a little loud through srain pipes and the fellow in the adjacent room was cutting wood all night (walls perhaps a bit lacking in sound proofing) Morning shower before early departure. Good water pressure and heat, shower curtain a little annoying and old school. For the price, it was fine for 1 night and we really appreciated the staff being receptive to our needs at such short notice and a place to rest after a long day.
