After a long and tiring drive over the mountains and forests from Eureka, we got a very warm and friendly welcome at Quality Inn Chico, and we were very pleased with the facilities in our room, and a big shout out to housekeeping, who had made sure our room was fresh and clean and perfect - a great way to relax after such a drive! Our room backed onto the street behind and I was woken at 5am by a garbage truck emptying the trash, so if you’re a light sleeper you might want to ask if you can have a room elsewhere, but this is not a complaint at all from me, just a recommendation for other potential guests. Overall very pleased we stayed here!

Located in heart of Chico near city square. Many restaurants and shopping options within blocks. Enjoyed evening band in city square.

Incredibly impressive especially for the price

The room was so clean and comfortable, the stuff was so friendly, they made me feel like a family, so, if you looking for a hotel on this town , do you have to stay on this one.

Poney was fantastic! I spoke to him a couple times before my stay and at check in. I couldn't switch to a double, but he was very professional and helpful. There was just one person at the very end. I sent my daughter to the desk to just let them know we were leaving while I loaded the car and the lady (short gray hair, very short height) kept telling her to wait. My daughter said telling the clerk that she had to leave. I finally came to look for her because it was taking so long just to say "we're checking out of room 126." I said, "Hello!" The clerk came out and with an angry scowl, said, "Just one minute." My daughter said I've been waiting. I said, "We don't need help, we just need to tell you we're checking out of room 126." She just responded, "oh. Okay," and then disappeared in the back again. So weird and so discourteous. Maybe she was having a bad day. But everything else was fantastic.We'll stay again. Please consider heating the pool. Thanks.

Clean, room photos matched our room. Pool was small but clean.

Wonderful stay within a couple of blocks of downtown and the university. There was music in the town square three of the nights we were there. Staff was very pleasant an accommodating. Bed was very comfortable memory foam. Easy access as we were able to park right in front of the door. Oh, and a bonus to have Schubert’s delicious homemade ice cream right across the street!

Very nice popular hotel for parents dropping of children to college. Right next door there is a seafood place that is great. It was a very clean room with plenty of towels and things needed. Would recommend if in the area

Have stayed here a few times because my child goes to Chico State. For the price its good. Breakfast is also included. Parking can be a little difficult inside their parking lot but around the block there is parking.
