This is one of the absolutely best places on Sanibel to stay. Even post hurricaine x 2, the accomodations are extremely clean and well managed. Shelling and beach access here, was amazing!!

The Hotel was exactly what I WANTED, easy to get to the beach (very few people there), Chairs and umbrellas in place on the beach, able to see the beach from my balcony, great shelling!
We will be back, cannot say enough great things!

The property/room was exceptional! Very nicely decorated, good amount of supplies, designated parking, just a short walk to the beach. After Hurricane Ian this place was one of the first to reopen. It is Amazing!! Loved it and will be back again!

Sanibel is still in recovery following Hurricane Ian in 2022, but there is movement on the island and we were happy to return this summer. The Island Inn was one of the commercial properties that sustained significant damage but they managed to reopen in a limited capacity, and we're glad they did. It was our first time staying there and we would definitely return as their recovery and rebuilding continues.

We loved staying here and also happy that we could in some way help with the cost of rebuilding after Ian… by making a reservation at the Island Inn. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

So glad to see Sanibel coming back to life after the devastation from the hurricane. What a little piece of paradise at Island Inn. The quiet private beach was amazing! Our room was clean and set up perfectly. With a beautiful view of the beach! We'll definitely be back one day!

This property is oceanfront with direct access to the beach from the lanai. There was a large screened lanai with chairs and a table. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. There was daily cleaning but, we decided not to use it because it was raining and we were stuck inside. When I went outside there were a bag of fresh towels at the door. I didn’t even ask for them. I would recommend this property.

However, there are few amenities on property and one damaged building on property that will need to be demolished and rebuilt. There was a grocery store and restaurants close by but many of the businesses are still closed. The beach is in good shape with tons of shells but beware the no-see-ums. Wishing Island Inn and their friendly team the best as they rebuild. We would like to revisit in the future.

Room was very spacious, clean and new. Everything was well stocked for the bathroom and kitchen needs. Staff was very nice and attentive. The beach was beautiful as always. Know before booking there is no pool. There is one washer and dryer on the grounds for the guest to use without charge. Overall the stay was excellent.

This place is truly heaven on earth! The staff should give a masterclass on how customer service should be! Carport for your vehicle!! If you want to be up to your ankles in shells (literally), this is the place for you! Worth the extra money! Would give this place 100 stars if I could❤️

We loved our time at Island Inn on Sanibel Island. The room was clean and beautiful. During our stay in december 2023/january 2024 there wäre still construction sites all over the Island to repair what Hurricane Ian destroyed. But it was Cali and still beautiful. Our hosts were super nice and had good tipps for what to do and where to go. We got waveboards for free for bodysurfing in the waves which was super gib!

I think the Inn should forewarn customers of the lack of elevators. I did fine, but not everyone would be able to handle the stairs.
