This is very basic hotel. Shower curtain an linens were dirty. Greasy smears on microwave and tv. Very loud guests.

We originally booked two nights here for a small weekend trip. The reviews seemed really good for the price, which obviously sounded like a good combo! However, when we arrived, we were unfortunately disappointed. The room seemed like it was only very minimally cleaned. The bathroom sink and mirror were dirty, the bathroom floor had obviously not been cleaned, the inside of the microwave was dirty, inside of drawers had dirt and hair in them. I didn’t want to shower or bathe my toddler in the tub so we ended up cutting our trip a day short, which was sad because it was our last trip before our next baby is born. Looked at reviews on google instead of expedia, only to find that just a month prior there were multiple reviews stating that they found bed bugs in their room and the front desk basically just said “again?” so we also washed all of our clothes & luggage once we got home. Not the best experience, unfortunately/:

This is an older hotel but I loved it! The family is very friendly and extremely helpful! I had 2 small dogs with myself and my husband & they were very welcoming to my dogs! All the staff and owners would speak to my dogs when we were out walking the halls, I was shocked at how well we were treated! There’s also lots to see and do, Tallulah Gorge less then 6 min away and Panther creek about 15 min…there is a Cuban place called HUSH, we highly recommend for dinner, be mindful the close early but the food is wonderful! We most definitely stay again! Namaste

I liked that I was able to check in very late (because of a flight) and check out before they opened, without any issue. The gentleman working the the desk was very helpful and understanding.

Location could use an update... only needed to stay one night, so it was fine. It was quiet, room was a little small. But fine for 1 night. Only 2 towels were in the room, there were 2 adults, so at least 1 more would've been nice. Lobby is extremely small, and a little sketchy when checking in late evening. But the gentleman working the desk was very polite!

We have no words to describe the place. We had prepaid, but we didn't stay. We tried but honestly the room smelled so bad...as did the lobby of the hotel....and as soon as we opened the door to our room we saw 3 flies buzzing around the room. It was also HOT. No AC in the Hallway...the room had a window unit that may or may not have worked but we didn't walk far enough into the room to find out. We literally turned around and walked back to our car without passing go! How we wish we had not prepaid!

The front desk personnel were kind and thoughtful, ensuring we could get the door open easily. When we checked out, the desk personnel asked if there was anything else they could have done to make our stay more pleasant, which there was not. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Front desk employee was nice when we needed to swap rooms due to our first non-smoking room obviously smelling strongly of smoke. He was quick to get us a new room, which did not smell like smoke, but the halls kind of did. Our new room had a couple hairs in the tub/shower walls, plus an already opened bar of soap on the tub, and a small spot of blood on the bathroom floor, which was unnerving. The bed and pillows seemed clean, thankfully. There was a coffeepot in the bathroom, which could have fit on the desk or TV stand. Not the cleanest stay I have ever had, but okay for one night, and cheap. There is a great breakfast place across the street!

We spent the night on the way to NC to open our cabin for the summer. This is the 2nd time we've used this hotel. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. They had just cleaned the carpets and regularly keep the property clean & maintained which is why we return.
