We booked 2 rooms. If I was rating room 222, it would be 5 stars. Cold AC room on some of the hottest days in Germany and wifi worked great! But the other room, 223 was the hottest most ridiculous room a person could stay in. Not even the fridge was cold. Wifi worked half the time. Staff were zero help and no intention of fixing.
Half the staff were friendly. Half were not. Procedures for beach card, pool, and breakfast were not explained. Pool was refreshing and never packed even with 6 peraon rule. Close walk to splash pad and beach. Be prepared for many locals to not speak English. Breakfast was ok but did serve sect!

We had a lovely stay at the Atlantic. Very attentive service, and a great room with magnificent views of the sea.

This hotel was not willing to work with me concerning my travel plans. I was stranded in a foreign country with different reservations for their sister hotel, also "Atlantic Hotel Luebeck", a mistake that ended up with me paying for 2 rooms with the Atlantic Hotel when I only stayed in one. They solidly told me that they could not help me even though I paid for the room. I am a single female traveler that arrived late at night, and they even refused to discuss the matter with me, even though all of my friends were paying customers as well. We will not be returning.

Hotel looks great from outside and lobby is very nice, the room was a disappointment. We had booked a "maisonnette" unaware that this was a two level room, where only the bathroom and a very small area is on the first level and the room with everything else on the upper level. Very unpractical, unless you are only there for a week-end with a small bag you can easily carry between the two levels...so we asked to change rooms and were given a room with the front door giving in the stairwell (!).... With no view and awkward design with pillars ( hazardous)....all around the room...breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. Easy parking and great location to visit surrounding great cities like Lubeck and Schwerin..

Ideally located close to the boardwalk and train station, the rooms are a delight, with every small thoughtful detail placed to bring contentment - right down to your choice of pillows. The staff are courteous and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast buffet is a little piece of heaven, especially when taken outside on the patio on a glorious sunny morning. For those who need to sneak in a little bit of work, the internet connection is fully reliable. And the spa facilities deliver a high-end experience. For those who prefer to ride a bicycle than walk, these are also available to guests. All in all, a wonderful experience of this exceptional region.
