Beautiful hotel, loved the l'occitane bathroom products in the room! Also rooftop terrace is really nice, although the bar was closed while we were there. Good location.
The room would be better with the cupboard being more accessible and better lit (it was hidden in a dark corner) as well as a full length mirror. Breakfast was disappointing as it had a small selection that frequently ran out and staff weren't attentive.

This is a lovely hotel and the only reason I took a star off is because I had requested a quiet room and got one on the noisier side and by the elevator. I also requested double beds for everyone and got one with two singles so had to ask to change one of the rooms.
That aside, everything else was great. The staff were lovely, the bar downstairs was a great place to have a glass of wine after a busy day and the terrace was fab.
The housekeeping was exceptional, not the sort of thing I normally comment on in a review but the team deserve a mention!
The location was also great as you can get down to the main points in town easily on the train or walking. Great places to eat around and a fab coffee shop down the road. I would happily stay there again.

We were very happy with our stay. Walkable to some great areas for food and transportation access. Hotel was very comfortable, nice rooftop. Would stay there again if we decided on that area of town.

From the minute we arrived we had a wonderful time at Villa Emilia, welcoming and very helpful staff, a special mention to Claudia on Reception who was very helpful, and the hotel was in a good position in central Barcelona. Although arriving earlier than stated check in time, we were allocated our room almost immediately. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Emilia and if visiting Barcelona again we would rebook without a moments hesitation.

Cannot recommend this adorable gem enough! First off, it’s the cutest boutique hotel ever. From the moment you walk in the lobby the staff are super friendly and are welcomed into their bistro restaurant, complete with live music on certain nights (piano). They have an exquisite seating area to enjoy your free welcome drink, I had cava. The rooms are spacious and I have to give mad props for the L’Occitane beauty products, yay. The bed was very comfy and location is perfect if you like the idea of being in a city without the noise. Very easy to walk or catch a taxi as they are frequently passing. And I cannot say enough about the food, the tapas and wine selection are wonderful. Loved the every bit of my stay here!!

It was a nice stay. The hotel was clean and had a nice aesthetic. It is a bit far from main attractions, so be ready to walk or take a taxi.

Being my 1st time in Barcelona, Villa Emilia was a great choice! The staff was very friendly and inviting. My room was great! Very clean and updated. Food options were nearby and lots of places within walking distance. I will surely return when in Barcelona.
