Quiet! Good breakfast (but very crowded at 7). Maybe a vending machine for late night arrivals?

Abbey Creek Inn is an older building but it was clean and attractive. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to swim. The breakfast was basic but good. It was a great value for the price and I'd definitely stay there again if we are in Winthrop. The surrounding area is beautiful. The only negative I have is that the floors are very creaky. So, if you don't want to hear the people above you walking around request a 2nd floor room, but be aware that there are no elevators so you'll need to carry your luggage up.

It was a hot breakfast not your typical continental that you get with other hotels. A short drive to town with restaurants and shopping. There's also a grocery store within walking distance. The chairs and picnic tables out back by the creek are also an added bonus to sit and listen to the water running over the rocks. If we are ever back in the area will definitely stay here again.

This was a clean and tidy Inn with comfortable amenities. Bed: king room with great mattress. Outdoor pool and hot tub as well as some games. Family friendly Access to River to sit Attentive staff Nice breakfast (simple but ample) included We will stay there again.

Our stay was excellent and comfortable. The free breakfast was outstanding. The pool looked very clean, and they had a lot of other outdoor activities to offer. We will definitely be back in the near future.

This is a lovely motel in the Winthrop area! We actually extended our stay one night! The pool and hot tub were beautiful, clean, and nicely maintained. The hot breakfast was really excellent! If you're so inclined the picnic area along the river is a wonderful place to walk!

There was a beautiful, calming Creek with chairs so you could sit & relax. We didn't use the pool or hottu b, but other patrons did. Horseshoe, cornhole available and bicycles!! Hot breakfast was very good.

We loved everything about our stay at Abby Creek EXCEPT someone came in at 11:41 (after we had been asleep for 2 hours) and walked heavily and made other noises that we could not help but hear for about 20 minutes. My hubby was NOT happy. This is one reason that we don't like to stay at multiple story motels. Next time we'll ask for the top floor. Everything else was close to top notch! The room was clean and the king bed SO comfy. (Minor repair is needed on the bathroom wall, however, above the tub surround.) The Continental breakfast was yummy, and the different gals at the front desk were all very sweet, professional and helpful. We loved the pool, hot tub and courtyard❣️

Great little spot on the river, with a nice outdoor pool. Good breakfast. Not really walkable for dinner, but they have free bicycles available.

Besides being or looking dirty, the bed spreads had little bits of black debris on them. Some kind of animal in the ceiling/attic running around at 4 AM. Packed up and departed at 5 AM. Would not recommend. Room 252

It was safe..quiet and a wonderful breakfast. Also in the room it had benches at the end of each bed to sit or put your luggage.

Our stay here was quiet, comfortable and relaxing, Thank you. Pool was perfect temperature and clean. Hot tub felt do good but it was in direct sunlight so couldn't stay in long. The area is just beautiful and the hotel even served a real breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful second stay at Abby creek. My only complaint was the hot tub and chemicals burning my daughter and I. We addressed it with the front desk but they didn’t seem concerned.

My family and I love coming here. Really nice staff and great breakfast. Our only complaints are the hard/lumpy beds and the fact that the pool is supposed to be heated but it was ice cold the entire week we were there. The main reason why we stay at Abby Creek is because they have a pool. My kids were really disappointed that the pool was so cold.
