Excellent property, close to bus transport hub for FlixBus. Outside of the city centre. Hotel was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast.

The exit of the parking area was blocked by a parking car, so driving out took time and was quit complicated.

Pleasant stay, good choice of meals in the restaurant. Rom was large with the bed in a seperate room with a dressing room area. Wi-fi was good. Good choice at breakfast

The AC didn’t work, the room only had a small window through which you can get same fresh air. There was a wall In front of the window. There was a bad smell in the bathroom. The room was smaller that the one I which I booked. The person at the reception was not helpful. .

the hotel is good, but the service at the restaurant and pub has become poor. I have lived there for a few days every 4-5 weeks before the pandemic and start travelling again in June this year. Maybe it's hard to get good and inspiring workers during this pandemic, I don't know. I hope it gets better, and if I don't, I'll change hotels.

Got lots of help from the concierge on methods of getting into town. The hotel was in (long) walking distance to the old town. Cab only cost $3 to get back. Nice and clean and breakfast was good. Very happy stay.

The room was spacious and clean .Bed was very comfortable.The staff were efficient but not particularly helpful.We had a lovely 2 day stay at the Lido and really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi on the roof

This is the second time that we are staying at this hotel. The hotel is quite good, they also have a restaurant with a wonderful Moldavian stew. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Room is basic but nice and equipped with the essentials. The only downside is the limited parking space and it is quite difficult finding a free spot on the streets.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel,staff were very professional and helpful considering I didn’t speak the local language ,they made me feel very comfortable,will stay there again on my next visit.

Great hotel with just a five minute walk to the beach and to centrum, really enjoyed the pool area and everything is clean and nice. Service was great, I can really recommend this hotel

Spent two nights at the Lido hotel. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are very good. My colleague said that it was worth getting to breakfast early-ish, otherwise they began running out of things.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodo Hotel. Reception staff were helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the centre. I realised that it was out of the centre when I booked it, but I would hardly say that it is close to the Orthodox Cathedral. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel, but we walked in each day. You can vary the route slightly each day, and on Sunday morning we came upon the delightful pet market close to the Nicolae Balcescu church, with lots of puppies looking for new homes.
There is an excellent free tourist map available from the Tourist Information Centre, with the centre in large scale on one side, and another map showing the outskirts (including the Lido !! ) on the other side.
