The hotel room was clean and equipped. The check in process was unique and different than one I’ve ever experienced. When we walked in, I offered my last name to the front desk staff. No request for ID, only a CC. Swiped our card and handed us the room keys. No information about incidentals, breakfast, pool hours, check out etc.

We were late checking in but the receptionist was so nice. She directed us to parking and told us about the breakfast. The room was clean and well maintained. Bed was comfy but it could have used another blanket.

We were very disappointed at check in when we were informed the pool was out of order & looked like it had been for quite some time. We would have chose somewhere else to stay if we had known. You should keep websites updated. Pop machine said $2 each, only takes card. Found out later I was charged $4.50 each soda. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.

Everything was okay. The food was surprisingly good. The rooms were nice, but the beds were terrible. The staff was awesome. Did I mention all the coffee you could handle?

I had booked two rooms through Expedia, but when I got to the hotel, they only had me reserved for one room. Also, the tub drain was back up and the showerhead not operate correctly. Maintenance is not a priority here.

Our air conditioner was not working well in the room. When we arrived, it was very late. It was stuffy in the room and we just assumed it was turned up. We adjusted it and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating profusely, ended up getting quite ill. My daughter had Mizzou orientation that day and it was unbelievably hot and humid outside. Not sure whether the air couldn’t keep up overnight or was broken. I mentioned this at checkout and nothing was said or done. I was extremely disappointed that some kind of discount wasn’t offered.

Room was over 80 degrees when we checked in. It did not cool down to 72 degrees until about 4am, jacuzzi in room was slimey when we filled it like it hadn't been washed, bed was hard and pillows were flat. We've stayed here before and not encountered these issues but it seems things have slacked off. For the price I definitely expect better.
