My second time staying at Jewell Lake. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked kitchen and a nice common room.

Great location. Rooms quiet. Appreciate being able to make my own breakfast. Nice sitting area. Good proximity to airport and main roads. Would stay here again.

The property is very dated and the pictures really don’t help you understand the layout. Our room had a great bed for sure. Ant. We had to go down a flight of stairs, which anybody that doesn’t feel stable. Walking would not want to negotiate. They have some rooms upstairs, which would not require changing a flight of stairs.

Our stay at Jewel Lake was great! Our only complaint was that the bathroom wasn’t totally cleaned before we arrived. The house is charming and the management is very communicative and kind!

This B&B was conveniently located to either end of the city for touring and was in a very quiet area. Other guests were respectful of rules concerning quiet hours. Laundry availability was limited but was not detrimental to enjoying the stay.

The owner was very rude to me, my travel companion and we heard her tell another person who had a room there that “you need to go now”! Although it was nearly check out we had laundry going and nearly done and was throwing people out before 11 which was check out. The bed was so comfortable it was like a cloud but she totally was a rude owner.

Showers are great, close to the airport and near all things you may need. Easy going, just like you stay at home away from home. Host contacts you early and always available if you need anything.

My favorite aspects were the nice shower, a clothes washer and dryer, and generous food offerings in the shared kitchen. My first time in a real bed and breakfast. Not bad!

It’s the perfect place to stay when arriving in Anchorage. We were there for two nights since we were taking a cruise from Seward. After some very long flights, we needed a comfortable place to rest and this B&B was perfect. Simple and clean, close to the airport, the kitchen had all kinds of supplies so we could make whatever snacks and breakfast we wanted. The bed was so comfortable it was tough to leave it. Would definitely stay there again.
