We stayed here for six nights.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Our room was comfortable, clean and provided all that we required. However the television, although supposedly offering both Italian terestial and satellite channels, did not offer much in english (apart from China National Television news channel in English).
The Al Braciere Restaurant and Pizzeria was excellent for evening meals. Fish and pizzas were first class. Breakfast gave an enormous choice of food, buffet style. More than enough to sed us through until evening!
We stayed in early October. I was slightly disappointed that the pool was completely closed off.
The hotel is situated on the south shore of Lake Garda. It is about a one hour walk to the historic town centre of Sirmione - a very pleasant, mainly lakeside, walk.
I would be very happy to stay here again when visiting Lake Garda.

The location was not very useful, the breakfast was great but the room was not so big and there was no elevator, also it was not so clean , the staff could help us carrying our luggage

Its a great location, not far from the lake front and several nice restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, its possible to walk to the historical centre of Sirmone which we did but the hotel also offers free bike hire! Rooms are spacious, modern and really clean, pool is a nice size for the hotel and never felt overly crowded. The free breakfast was a nice offer and food was nice but we didn't eat there every morning, it didn't appear to be replenished so best to go around 9 or before. All the staff were very friendly and the pizzas at the restaurant were the best we had in the area! The only slightly off putting thing was having to walk through the restaurant and in between diners to exit and enter but that's minor! It would have been nice to have a side entrance for hotel guests. The hotel is very close to a large supermarket and also on the bus route for the main bus to Verona and to go around the south of the lake which was handy! Overall a really nice stay!

A little hotel close to Sirmione. We stayed one night on the way from Milan to Venezia - very convenient. We walked from the hotel to Sirmione and back, but there is a shuttle available. Small room in the hotel, but it was enough space for us for 1 night. A safe in the room, a kettle, and a restaurant - we had breakfast there but not dinner - it was opened from 7pm. We had dinner in Sirmione. There is a grocery store nearby, 200 yards.

A little hotel close to Sirmione. We stayed one night on the way from Milan to Venezia - very convenient. We walked from the hotel to Sirmione and back, but there is a shuttle available. Small room in the hotel, but it was enough space for us for 1 night. A safe in the room, a kettle, and a restaurant - we had breakfast there but not dinner - it was opened from 7pm. We had dinner in Sirmione. There is a grocery store nearby, 200 yards.

It a great place , the supermarket is just round the belt. Free carparks and free breakfast have a decent spread.

We had an awesome stay. The staff were pleasant. Having a restaurant on site was great.
Disappointed that the fridge did not work in the room even though we reported it several times. The excuse from the staff at the hotel was that ‘it was a chiller and not a fridge’. Even so, it was broken and Our food spoiled.

The Riel Hotel was amazing. It is modern, spacious rooms with balconies, friendly
staff, amazing breakfast each morning, and 10min walk to the castle. They have plenty of free bicycles you can use and we cycled to the castle all along the lake's edge. Beautiful!

Very nice property for the price. Short walk into town and restaurants close by. Restaurant in the hotel is also good. Bicycles available for free from the hotel so a nice way to get around. Breakfast buffet is just ok. Staff all very helpful. I would stay here again if in the area.

This hotel was great for our family and our needs during our stay for just two nights. A bit far from the historic city center but parking was easily accessed and driving wasn’t a big deal. The wifi was not reliable at this location, but I worked good enough for our needs. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well as the pool. Our shower was quite small but again the space was everything we could have needed.
The only odd thing we noticed was that there was tea but no coffee provided in the room. In addition, at breakfast you have to order coffee by the cup from the wait staff instead of having a coffee machine.
Either way, definitely recommend for the price and they have a beautiful marina/lake view in a quiet neighborhood.

The wifi was not reliable at this location, but I worked good enough for our needs. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well as the pool. Our shower was quite small but again the space was everything we could have needed.

Either way, definitely recommend for the price and they have a beautiful marina/lake view in a quiet neighborhood.

The hotel was very clean but the breakfast and dinner was awful… went round the town and eat out for the rest of my stay… not enough Sunbed’s as the filled up really early.. cleanliness was good…probably wouldn’t stay again.

Fab location. Lovely room...very clean...altho a bit hot when aircon isnt working. Friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best Ive ever encountered...good selection and all very fresh. Perhaps because hotel has its own restaurant which was also excellent. We ate there evry night beacuse the food was so good. For those with allergy issues...this hotel offers a wide selection of gluten free products.

The hotel room was very clean, the bathroom worked very well and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a restaurant, but we wanted to have a meal in town and the receptionist was kind enough to recommend two other options for our evening meal. We decided for La fenice, a lively wine bar with some food and it was a lovely experience. It seemed a very popular place with locals. All in all it was a very nice stay. I am not sure, however, that it would be as pleasant as this in the summer months when the area is much more crowded.
