I was very impressed by the helpfulness and hospitality received by the staff at Alfiz hotel They assisted me with all of my inquiries and were pleasant to interact with. The welcome sangria drink was delicious and refreshing! The room was absolutely comfortable and allowed us to relax between exploring the city. The location is well situated in the core of the city, with plenty of restaurants in the area. We happened to visit during the week of Cartagena independence day in November and we were at the heart of the festivities happening in the main square. Although we were able to hear the noise from the parties, we had no problems with falling asleep through it. Breakfast was nice, although I did get bit by mosquitoes from the plants in the courtyard. Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Cartagena!

The construction is old, a different experience for those who usually stay in large hotels and enjoy rest at the Lobby/Bar. Our room San Pedro Claver, second floor, with no comfortable seats to rest, the city is very hot and we walk a lot, the seats are made of wood in tone with decoration but are not comfortable. The shower is a wonderful, good bed, soft pillows and clean sheets. The room is hot when you come in but when you turn on the air conditioning and the ceiling fan becomes nice. Good breakfast included and very good attention. This hotel has an excellent location and security. Recommended

Best thing of the property is the remarkable staff they have. Always attentive. Never miss a beat. Breakfast was delicious. Anything you’d like was presented to you.. the decor was just perfect. Not too much not too little. Quite remarkable for its Era of time.Super safe. Great location!!!

I didn’t realize it was just 8 rooms, mine was exceptionally special in its design and configuration… the smaller nature the small kitchen just off the garden dining area was really nice… now at a 5 star resort and think my earliest days were the best!

Great location in the heart of the old city. Katrina, at the reception desk, is very helpful, as are all of the staff. We will definitely come back! Also, we’d like to stay at the other hotels run by the same hotel group.

It’s the perfect boutique hotel. Perfect location, in the middle of the old town, but far away from the noise. The service, the ambiance and the staff are the best in Cartagena. And the room it’s clean and beautiful!

Centuries old Spanish villa. Carina at front desk was great. I arrived hours early and they took good care of me. This is a historic family friendly place,. They do not permit night trades and that makes the place even safer. Knocking on the wooden doors transports you to another era. It is a must for any history buffs. Withing walking distance of the walled city.

The staff Manuel, Estella and Carina were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Estella’s breakfast was probably our favorite part in this trip. It is a highly recommended hotel and we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel in heart of walled city. Restored, three century old building. Incredibly comfortable with beautiful appointments. Largest bathtub I have ever seen. Incredibly nice and helpful staff. Couldn't ask for better.
