Besides an initial mixup with the reservation, the service we received was great. The food is good. And the location is excellent- beautiful private beach which is completely safe at night. The rooms had some black mold, spiders and only tv just in living room(not in bedrooms). Other than that they are nice and comfortable. No English channels besides CNN on cable. The staff doesn't really speak good English, you will definitely need to know some basic Portuguese and bring Google Translation to get by. They charge for everything including wifi which isn't great signal, but at least it works. There is a local market across the street that has snacks and bottled water for a lot cheaper than that hotel. Lots of local restaurants in the area offer free transport to and from the hotel too. Keep in mind that if you want a city vacation with nightlife etc. look elsewhere in downtown. Beach Park Wellness is perfect for those who want to relax, feel safe and forget you problems. They do offer family friendly entertainment, music comedy etc each night in the beach bark common area but it's done by 10pm. We will definitely consider coming back here in the future.

The hotel is ok, its facilities and rooms are excellent. The hotel is very close to the water park, only a hundred of meters away. It is also a hundred meters form the beach, wich is a nice beach, very windy, the water is warm, there are plenty of palm trees on the shore and a nice and very expensive restaurant within it. The place is very safe and also a quiet place to be. The buffet breakfast is excellent, and for the rest of meals we can not give oppinion, cause we ate outside the hotel. There are no places outside near the hotel for eating. It is necesary to take a taxi (4US$) for going to a place 1km away that has a couple of decent restaurants. I would recomend this place to anyone going with children to enjoy the water park, only that, cause no other activities could be done there. We are a family with two children (11 and 9)
