It suited us the most because we’ve much needed peace & quite. The location is not for party animals, however it’s not far from all the action areas where you need a taxi & front desk would be happy to help. All staffs were willing to help. There were 2 individuals stood out the most were Izzy & note. The weather was so good without any rain. The resort is on the west side of the island and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets almost everyday. This is the driest part of Thailand even on raining season. We are already planning to go back next year.

We stayed here for the 2nd time after some years. The speedboat brings you fast to hotel at certain times with a price of 600 THB p.p incl. return. Good things are that the place is at the beach and it is quiet with clear water and beautiful sand. Rooms are ok with basic needs and wifi works. Downside is that food and drinks are very expensive compared to the prices on the other side of the island and also compared to other destinations in Thailand. The quality of the food was not above average. Also the services are totally rediciously priced - a normal 1 hr oil massage is 1200 THB++. No wonder that the massage place was totally empty every day. There is also no gym which should be at this level of room prices. With this pricing we will most probably not any more come for the 3rd time as the quality/price -ratio is not good any more. We do enjoy very much of travelling and are Platinum Members of One World so enjoy the luxury quite often and have a very good sense what is market priced and what not.

We had a wonderful time in Au Prao. The setting was lovely, the sea was great for swimming, and we loved Teddy singing in the evenings.

Generally an excellent place. Room was comfortable and spotless. Restaurants were excellent. Only complaint was with regards to the restaurant manager. All the staff were very good wearing masks except the manager. He stood at entrance to restaurant every night with his old used mask hanging off his chin leaning into the faces of patrons. Sets a very bad example for his staff and upsetting for guests.

The staff was friendly but the food was lacking and there was never any staff on the beach asking if there was anything you required no water was available to drink and no access to purchase anything to drink out side the bar was non existent

Quiet and clean beach on the west side of Koh Samet. There are only three resorts on Ao Prao Beach - Le Vimarn and Ao Prao Resorts are managed by the same company and CoCo Lima in between. Although it had a full occupancy during our stay, we never felt crowded/rushed. The resort is spacious and there are enough sun beds for everyone. We were already checked in their own special pier - so smooth with transfers and our car, which was parked in the pier, was well looked after. Staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. Complimentary breakfast served a variety of international and Thai dishes - soup options were especially great. We had BBQ dinner, which was not bad, but not so impressive either. We also had one Italian dinner at "O" restaurant in Le Vimarn, which served very good pizza and risotto. We got a deluxe hillside room. Probably because I asked for a quiet room, our room was at the end of the resort. It was a bit of climb, so in case you have a problem in mobility, it's better to get one of the beach cottages.. It was a pleasant stay and we will definitely go back.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was the food, we tried all 3 restaurants and to be honest the food was just okey, especially compared to the price we paid. One weird thing was that the food never were served at the same time for me and my friend, almost everytime one of us got the food and the other had to wait another 10-20 min without explanition. If the standard of the restaurants were higher, this resort would be absolutely perfect.

Nice blend of locals and tourists, always busy but with a lovely beach that keeps things quiet.
