We had an amazing stay at this property, the staff was super friendly, there was a steakhouse right next door with really good food. The room was comfy and big, we love to stay and will stay again in the future when we're passing through the area.

The entrance was extremely dark upon arrival. We arrived late, 11:30 pm and we felt unsafe leaving our car in the darkness and entering a dark foyer and lobby. Very uninviting and depressing. Gentelman behind the counter was unfriendly and uninviting. Made me uncomfortable.

I’m sorry to write this but the truth must be told. My brother and I checked in at the hotel and upon arriving at the hotel entrance, we got hit with a terrible sewage smell. We immediately asked where the smell was coming from and we were told that it was from the drainage and that the city of Amarillo had been notified about it. The lady who checked us in said that we wont smell it once we’re in our rooms but that wasn’t true when we went in our room. You could still smell it. The room was alright but had an old carpet torn carpet, old lamps and everything else was old. Anyway, we ended up checking out were told that we would get our full refund. The website makes the hotel and the rooms appear all new and clean but that’s not the reality.

The state was good. The room is cleaning comfortable, but there was problems with the key reader on the doors. Had to go back many times to get the card key reprogrammed

Major sewage issue smell in the lobby that went through out the building. The staff was great, and the hotel was clean overall, the but smell was over powering. The Lysol spray didn’t cover up the smell.

Room key took numerous tries electronically to open the door, every day. Rust in the bathtub at the drain, cover on the a/c broken, daylight curtain very difficult to open/close, hair dryer holder broken and fell into sink (i did not use the hair dryer, lightly bumped it when shaving), could not print me a copy of my bill, said they would email it to me but still have not received it. Personnel were all very courteous and quick to respond to anything I asked or required. Pool was not working, hot tub was not working.

This hotel was an amazing price for the quality! The bed was so so comfortable! The staff was so friendly and kind! Breakfast had a great selection. Did I mention the wonderful staff?? Every staff member we encountered was helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

When we arrived, (after we had paid online) 1. We were told the pool and hot tub could not be used due to some rule for handicap access( we are not handicapped) 2. There was a horrible for of sewerage in the hallways and a horrendous nauseous smell of cat box in our room 3. When we tried to call the front desk, we discovered the phone DID NOT WORK at all 4. The odor of ‘cats’ was so BAD that it awoke us all night and made us sick to our stomachs ( we love cats but…) 5. When we spoke to manager in the morning, he told us he was sorry but could not refund our $ . 6. The manager told us to call Hotels.com and we did- but only reached a ‘Bot’ and no satisfaction could or would be given Fundamentally the motel is beautiful to look at, the rooms seemed clean, and the beds were luscious- BUT no pool or hot tub, plumbing issues, rank, nasty smells and non-working phones RUINED OUR STAY * We need and deserve a refund

They were very “dog friendly” and very flexible re: giving us a first floor room and allowing us to walk our bikes into our room to keep them safe. Because of this, we decided to make reservations here again on our way back home. The 2 women at the desk were very helpful and friendly.
