Always a nice stay at the Baymont.

We drove down to Grand Forks for the day, but decided last minute to stay overnight instead of driving home in the dark. We didn’t bring an overnight bag so when we checked into the hotel we asked if they had any toiletries. They were able to provide almost everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the shower head had many settings and we had plenty of towels. The breakfast that is included with your stay was great and had lots of choices. We didn’t have any pets, but there was water and treats for anyone who did bring their dog along. Would stay here again.

Maybe need housekeeping to be more careful. There was a used towel on the back of the bathroom door and dried on, I think, pizza sauce on the nightstand I cleaned off. I could also see splash marks on the toilet seat that I had to wipe off with antibacterial gel. The soap in the shower was empty. It was really disappointing. We have stayed before without issues. I would have said something at checkout but no one was around... Just the key box.

This hotel is not that old but rooms are worn and tired looking. Most of the room furniture & lamp shades were damaged. Bed seemed to be clean. The front desk staff were nice and professional but the breakfast area is filthy. Tables were not cleaned very well and flies landing on your plate. Likely because the auto doors stay open too long, sometimes without people going through. Its hard to feel comfortable eating when you don't want to touch anything.

Pool and hot tub definitely needs cleaning and attention. Breakfast was satisfactory first day. 2nd day was not good. Cleaning staff 1st day were wondering and helpful. Day 2 she unfortunately didn't speak English to understand my simple request. However her partner on the floor did. The bathroom was obviously meant for a handicapped individual. Wasn't suitable for our needs. The shower was hand held to accommodate someone needing to reach those special places. Unfortunately i didn't know if the shower was disinfected and i was a little uncomfortable. And my toilet internal plunger was not functioning properly. I was able to fix it to stop it from further leaking myself. Was a one time experience.

Our stay was a quick overnight enroute. The staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and pet friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The bathtub stopper in the drain wouldn't stay open. The TV didn't work. The AC/Heat didn't work. Told front desk and nothing happened. Maybe the next folks will get things fixed. Great breakfast! No coffee for breakfast and no one tried to make more!

I love having a quiet pool, during the day, to take my two year old grandson to. Also the delicious hot breakfast definitely adds to the value of the already-reasonably-priced rooms. Enjoy staying here, each time I travel to Grand Forks.

Location

Free breakfast was horrible tasting food served on styrofoam plates. They were out of butter, had sausage patties absolutely swimming in grease. Disposable plates are so wasteful. Beds were so hard that we left a day early. Police were there dealing with a disturbance. Overall not a good experience and wouldn’t stay there again mainly because of the beds.

Outstanding hospitality services

The breakfast was very thorough! The pool was exceptionally warm - we didn’t even go in the hot tub, which was our intent!
