The property is absolutely beautiful, everything is meant to relax its guest. The sounds, the scents and the design but it was difficult to fully relax due to the excessive heat. We visited in early August and according to many this is the cool season. The heat is very humid and uncomfortable. Air conditioned and Wifi need improvement.

This property is stunning and one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Mexico. It's relaxing and quiet, fully integrating guests into the surrounding environment. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to introduce themselves when we arrived and they became engaged hosts throughout. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and practical. The proximity to the beach and cabanas beachfront are gorgeous. Highly recommend.

We had such a great time at the hotel! We loved sleeping with the sound of the waves crashing, the smell of burning copal. The service is impeccable and the staff very friendly. We highly recommend staying there to enjoy Puerto Escondido at its fullest.

Beach towels were shabby, no plugs in bathroom, poor lighting in room, A/C not the best due to louvers & screens on both ends of room, private pool NOT inviting, very little drinking water in room, continental breakfast - tight, rooms not #'d, amenities were sparse, rust areas in pool, ants everywhere, horrible road to get there, no phone in room, no paper or pen in room - for what is charged!!!
Staff was great, nice pool and interesting looking place on line.

We enjoyed four days at the property which is beautiful. It is a nice place to relax.The rooms are large and well appointed, and the pool is wonderful. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Because the hotel is a bit far from town, we ate three of our dinners at the hotel. The food was delicious and the menu varied. They also have a nice selection of wines. I look forward to returning one day.

Secluded unique property. Perfect if your looking for a quiet getaway. Staff was really friendly Annoyed that they wouldn’t allow me to bring alcohol on the property which was on the rules that I didn’t read.
