Nice building and grounds, and the suite was well laid out with a large bathroom. The room was quiet, even with windows open. The entrance to the suite was through the top of the Orangerie, which had all windows closed and got very stuffy and hot during the day. I recommend that the windows be kept open in the future. The food was OK, but it doesn't appear that there was any organic vegetables/fruit or pastured eggs and meat. Getting to Waren involves a 30 minute bus ride (once an hour) or a 15 minute wait for a ~20 EUR taxi.

Nice souroundings and super good food but quite few things to do. We also have a feeling that when we tried to make an early check in the guy in the reception was not friendly at all. There was not busy at all and many roms were empty! We got a room with the view over the parkering and many rooms with seeview was empty. We also paid quite a lot in advance through Hotels.com so we have a feeling that we got one of the badest rooms available due to that!

Very nice hotel directly on the lake Mueritz shore, delicious breakfast on a terrace. We stayed in the castle and enjoyed views and food. You could walk and cycle along the shore, Waren is within bicycle reach.

The Castle is right next to the lake! Everything is just lovely! We wished we had more time to explore!!

There are also very good hiking routes close by that are very well taken care of that are full of great chances of seeing wildlife. The hotel has quite good sauna facilities that are excellent for a relaxing afternoon. The hotel is a very well taken of but is simply out of date. There is no wifi and the area has bad 3G signal. The room had no safe, no mini bar and old fashioned decor. If you don't this and want to go off-grid we would recommend it. The breakfast is good as well and complete with sparkly wine.

Everything was beautiful and the staff outstanding and friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every thing including two wonderful massages!
