Uninterested staff that didn’t show us up to the room left us with an first bad impression. When we finally found our way to the room it was not cleaned in a proper way. Piss on the toilet, garbage on the floor and the bed was not made. On top of this they had put “clean” towels in the bathroom and on the bed? We just returned the key and left without saying anything really.

Basic, clean hotel. Restaurant and bar not open except for breakfast. Could have done with a kettle.

First time in Albanien was a very positive experience. Low prices on living and food. And wery helpfull peopels.

This is a real review, not a fake one. This "hotel" is a awful in most ways. First of all I booked (and payed) the room in january and arrived in may (I arrived late but did call them in advance and told them), but at arrival they told me I could only stay in the room they got for me one night and then I had to move to another room, the reason being I have only booked a room for two but today they didnt have that only a family room. So what happen is that even if I already payed and booked the room long time ago they rented it to someone else ("overbooked" like American Airways). The room itself is horrible, the toilet is minimal and in a not so smart way the door open inwarts hitting the toilet so you cant almost get in yourself (Im quite small person, if you are fat you will not be able at all). They only clean the room sometimes, one of the days we had already left the hotel about 10.00 and when we came back in the evening it was completely untouched. The reception is not properly manned. Also I could not see there where any cleaning staff anywhere in the morning in this small hotel. There are ants in the room. About the location: Sarande is a small town and regarding that this hotel is relatively far from the centre and there is absolutely nothing of interests for anyone in this area. All other hotels is better located. The "beach" in front of the hotel is stone/concrete stuff not suitable for bathing in any way and nobody does. Parking is a narrow horror

Basic but functional hotel with private beach and fantastic view of the bay. Just out of town but a safe and easy walk-15 mins to all bars, restaurants and shops.

Came for three days, stayed for a week. From check in to check out the hotel and staff met or exceeded my expectations. Top of class in terms of staff, facilities and service. They truly care about their guests and it shows.

Family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Basic, but clean. Free parking. Free wifi. Small breakfast variations; eggs, byrek, coffe and juice or milk. Good value for money. Don't expect luxury. We had sea view/balcony and nice afternoon and evening sun. Right on the seafront, but in May 2016; not suited for bathing. Quiet, though there are a lot of construction projects around ( as in 'all Albania' by 2016.) Felt 'being looked after, and taken care of :)) Would go back for next Sarande stay!

It was great the stay! Me and my girl friend staid only 1 night at Piccolino Hotel and we reallye love it. The hotel is close to the city and few step from the beach, the breakfast was very nice, the food in the restaurant was Albanian Traditional and also there was different specialty. I recommend the hotel for many reason.

It was only 1 night stay at Hotel Piccolino! I loved the view from balcony, the tasty breakfast, very close to the city, nice people as was family run business, high speed wi-fi, super traditional food in the restaurant. Before I staid in Hotel Piccolino I was in many cities of Albania but the like this hotel was not! I fully recommend Hotel Piccolino for many reason.
