Very pleasent stay in a nice hotel. Tha Staff is very nice and very professional !! very easy and quick check-in as also check-out !! Had also very nice dinner on site. Breakfast is also excellent with fresh fruit salad as a lot of fruits and more !!! Will return for sure !! Only the WiFi is not really working fine. Could be improved !!

Bed size not as advertised. No privacy: room is overlooking breakfast area. (Not garden view as advertised) No screening curtains. We had to close the only “full block” curtains to ensure no-one sees into the room. This means no sunlight into the room until checkout. Very very small tv. Probably 27”. Can’t remember if that was stipulated. Nice breakfast

I loved this small hotel. The surrounding area was very upscale and gated which made me feel very safe as a solo traveler. The staff were very helpful with arranging transport and the food at the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Walking along the golf course in the morning made me staying at resort place. Order style breakfast was also nice, even though have to go to golf club house for dinner. They have AC adapter to fit my Japanese conecter to the SA's three big pin type outlet. Highly security in the estare. Totally good experience in Pretoria.

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations in every way. It's definitely a luxury guest house. The staff are unbelievable professional and very kind. There's 24 hour security and if you area looking for a place away from the city, that's the place to be. I would definitely recommend this place for couples cause you'd never want to leave the lakes estate. There are not very many attractions close by but places like Mannely Park Shopping Mall it's only a 15 min drive. It's 25-30 minutes to the city centre which = R180 so if you don't drive you'd have to spend a lot of money with a cab. If you need to book a tour, call a cab, the hotel actually does that for you. Just let them know what you need and they will gladly help you. The only negative I have is that there are no railings on the some of the stairs such as the stairs to the restaurant and if you have mobility problems like me, it would be a problem going to the restaurant. A big thanks to Channele and all the staff at silver lakes. I would definitely go back.
