We love staying at Brookside every year. Sux yrs now. Very friendly, very accommodating, it makes the entire trip a joy. We go in Nov before Thanksgiving, all the Christmas lights and atmosphere all over, magical. We enjoy building a fire and relaxing. Step out on your patio and the beautiful creek is just below. You should give it a try!

Room was clean and had been remodeled. The bed was a little uncomfortable and hard, would have been nice to have a pillow top mattress. If there is a fireplace in the room I think 1 bundle of wood should be included with the rate. I paid $98 a night and had to purchase fire wood. Or you should get a bundle for however many nights you are staying. Otherwise it wasn’t bad.

Although breakfast was ok for my husband I couldn’t eat anything because I am gluten free. I wish they had provided some options.

Friendly and courteous check in staff and Emma the parrot is such a delight to see in lobby! Very clean, neat, and tidy!

Service was great even though our shower head leaked. The staff was quick to fix the problem. Great stay

When I booked the room a few months ago. I was under the impression that our room would have a fireplace and be carpeted. WE have stayed here previously and were so happy with our room that we wanted to come back here. Our room was on the ground floor, all the way to the right of the office. The last room on the lower floor, and that was fine. There was LVP flooring that is peaking in the bathroom and will soon need to be replaced. At first glance the room looked clean but upon closer inspection it was not so clean. There were cup rings on the table and weird spots on the floor. The doors, both front and back needed weather stripping installed. There was a constant breeze in the room. The corner where the microwave and coffee maker are smelled of mildew. It was not noticeable at first but every time I opened the fridge it was "stirred up". The first night of our 2 night stay there was a vehicle parked directly in front of our room and it had no parking pass, so we had to park elsewhere. The 2nd night around 2:30a.m. it sounded like someone was banging the doors and dropping things on the floor in the room above us. All in all not a great experience. I will not book online again. I will call to make sure that we get a room that we will enjoy staying in for a few days.

We got the Deluxe room. It was huge, with a fireplace. The bed was super comfy and we relaxed on the balcony overlooking a babbling brook. Beautiful setting, comfortable and not expensive. We will never go anywhere else in Gatlinburg @

The check in process was very pleasant. The service was polite, fast, and accommodating when needing to change rooms. Changed rooms because my original booking was not ready. They were very quick to get me into a different room. New room was very clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again! Loved having the balcony along the creek!

Beautiful room! We had a creek view and the patio was gorgeous to sit out on. The room itself was big and had beautiful vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Wonderful stay!

Wish you had a rack like most hotels to hang things up. Also wish you had cleaning peope who spoke english because he never came back to clean our room one day.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to downtown and it was really peaceful. We loved sitting on the balcony!

Staff was great, Room had a nice view

Was looking for a place for one night with an early departure for hiking in the morning. The staff in the office was super accommodating and friendly . Was not expecting the room to be as charming as it was, super clean, rustic decorations and the creek made the comfortable beds just that much better. Will definitely return to Brookside Lodge on our next hiking trip in the Smokies.
