This is a very comfortable hotel. The service is great and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from JR Station and Bus Terminal. I like the onsen at roof top and the quiet environment.

Nice, clean and comfort hotel with a good sized room and lovely view. The Spa on the 9th floor was a treat. I would definitely stay there again

Rooms were on the smaller side for the price point (compared to some others we have stayed at). Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is reasonably priced and offers a nice selection .

Walking distance from the train station. Comfortable bed and decent sized room. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly and welcoming staff on reception and in the dining room.

Takayama is a lovely place to visit. The hotel is clean comfortable and close to the station. Best of all was the lovely view i had over the town from my window

The location is perfect, we stayed one night for next day travel to Shirakawago, the bus station is nearby, 10 minutes walk, I love the hot springs on the rooftop, love it, the price is very good too.

I loved my stay here- by far the best big hotel I’ve stayed in in Japan. The staff were so kind, and even asked the chef to provide a gluten free breakfast for me as i am coeliac. The care, warmth and kindness around this issue was amazing. I was given a huge and beautiful breakfast with many different items that were safe for me to eat.
The room was lovely- the view over the snowy town roofs was great. The onsen was nice- the outdoor part especially good when it was snowing. One bonus for me was the sauna, although it was 90-92 degrees which is a bit hotter than my preferred sauna temperature.
Although there was a little difficulty in accessing the onsen as a trans non-binary person, that’s an issue that I’ve had all over Japan and not the hotel’s fault- it was members of the public that made me feel a bit uncomfortable, not the staff.
All in all I had a great stay in this hotel and loved takayama.

My room is facing the mountain side and it was very nice during the day to see the red leaves all around the mountain. The location is very convenient and just a few minute walk from the train/bus station. The room is big and spacious. One thing I would like to comment is the room does not provide any tea bag or coffee.

The hotel is in great location and this is my second time staying here for this year . The service is gotten worse they are overwhelmed with guests
When I check in the staff was rude and condescending . I sprained my ankle on the way over here and asked for ice she said there is no ice in the hotel which is not true there is an ice machine on top
Floor . I had to hop over family Mart store in pain to get ice . They are incompetent and extremely rude . I will never stay at this hotel again
