Beautiful hotel with magnificent views on Porto city. Very kind and caring staff. Lovely breakfast with freshly baked pastel de nata. Enjoyed lovely diner in the restaurant and afternoon at the hotel pool. Would recommend for sure!.

Great service and very nice pool area. The employees at the hotel are the best, very accommodating and friendly. The hotel bar is nice and a great place to chill after a day of exploring Porto.

A perfect hotel with nice rooms and a beautiful bathroom. There was a toilet in a separate room. The pool is great with lots of good seating. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

The best! Ten stars!! This was our second time staying at the Lodge and was just as great as the first. The people are so wonderful, accommodating and helpful and really exemplify consummate customer service. The rooms are nice, the bar well-stocked and the breakfasts are incredible, not to mention the perfect location with walking distance to all of the port houses and other attractions in Porto. We even had problems with last minute travel plans and they worked to find an alternate the night before we left. We cannot thank them enough for their help, nor recommend them more highly when you are in Porto. We will return!

Wonderful experience. Staff was amazing and so nice. The included breakfast had many options which was great. Nice big king size bed in the room was very comfortable. As an American, I know that European hotels can sometimes be much smaller compared to what we are used to. This was not the case at all. I highly recommend.

The Lodge Hotel was amazing in every way. The service was impeccable, location great, pool and facilities fantastic. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff made sure to make it memorable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will recommend this hotel to friends who are planning a stay in Porto.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was amazing. The room was always spotless, bed was like sleeping in a cloud lol. The breakfast had a huge amount of options and was always well stocked. The waiters /waitresses were always attentive and we were treated like royalty. To be fair every member of staff treated us like royalty and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend the hotel for comfort, cleanliness and service. Would stay again without hesitation.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintain. We stayed in a suite. The room is big, clean and well kept. The bed was confortable and the view is spectacular. The staff is great. Very professional and very helpful. Diego at the bar was very nice, professional and provided great service.

We stayed 10 nights at "The Lodge". We could not have faulted the hotel in any respect. The staff are a true highlight showing the hotel's worthiness of being a 5* property. Magarida on reception helped us continuously throughout our stay and was always warm, friendly and welcoming to us in every interaction. At check in, the room was not available (we landed very early in the morning and did not expect to get checked in). Magarida very kindly telephoned us as soon as the room was available which was very thoughtful and convenient. Other staff of note was the entire team at breakfast, led by the very friendly and accommodating Ava and Henrique. Both of these staff members welcomed us with a smile each morning. They were also kind enough to give us recommendations of where to go and what to do whilst on holiday - Ava even wrote down a couple of local desserts that we had to try! There were so many pleasant waiting staff, unfortunately we didn't catch all their names. It was so lovely to wake up in the morning and go to a breakfast room that had such a lovely atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and the housekeeping staff are clearly very professional and look after the aesthetic of the hotel. Their nightly turn down service was appreciated, and we very much enjoyed our nightly chocolate or face cleansing towel. In terms of our VIP access status, we appreciated being allowed to check in early, a welcome letter from the manager and free bottle of wine and treats! Muito obrigado!!
