Whenever I go to Xiamen, I always sleep in this hotel. It's so nice to see around and there are many restaurants, so it's very convenient. The view of Gurangyi Island at room is so beautiful, and the fact that you can see it in your hotel room is very attractive. There is a lot of bottled water, and the breakfast is very rich and delicious. Whenever I go to Xiamen, I always go to this hotel.

1. This hotel is built above ground 5 story high. In front there is a shopping complex which is 3 minutes walk from the hotel main entrance. When the mall is open, you can use their elevators to go to the street level. If not you will have to walk the ramp which is inclined to 5 story high. NOT a good thing when you do not have a car or would like to come out for a walk. 2. The bell boys are very helpful. The managers are very helpful and knowledgeable. But the waitress in the lobby is not. She does not know English and when I approached her for a table. She snap in Mandarin that she does not speak English. Lucky I spoke both English and Mandarin. But I told her that was not the way to do it considering they are a 5 star international chain hotel. 3. Air conditioning could be better. They are part of the Accor Family which always have great air conditioning. 4. Head waitress in the second floor chinese restaurant and the steak place on the ground floor were great too.

Enjoyed our stay with Swiss grand hotel Xiamen. We booked 2 rooms. Clean and no smoke smell for non smoking room. Crystal was able to accommodate our request for late check out till 1pm. Will stay here again

Seaview rooms are quite spacious and with a nice view of the Kulangyu Island. Facilities are clean and staff are friendly, it is within 5 min walk to shops and plenty of eateries.

The view of Gulangsu is stunning! Love it! Room is big and clean. Close to metro station. Staff are professional and hospitable. Recommended.

Walking distance to the Metro station and commercial area. Spacious room size, extra restroom and great view from the suite. Daily buffet breatkfast is acceptable.

The location and service is excellence. Only the room temperature needed a bit of work to learn how get the right temperature. The dehumidifier and the aircond must work together and empty the water. Otherwise, the room will be very humid and warm.

We booked for 3 adults but they only gave us 1 king bed… we requested an extra bed but we have to pay additional cny330 per day without breakfast…they said even 5 persons in a room they have the same rate…we end up squeezing in 1 bed
