We had 3 rooms... Ac split units were not cooling. Shower heads were broken and clogged. Breakfast had very limited options.

It is a fantastic location, and the rooftop with the pool is perfect. The staff was very attentive. However, the rooms are dated for an “urban” hotel, and the towels look like they have been there since the late 70s. Also, if you have a light sleep, remember that the hotel is in the middle of Party Central.

Easy and quick check in, friendly staff. Excellent location to walk around the city. Room is small but good orginized and very good view to the clock tower, plaza and the sea... Next buildings have a rooftop bar and disco which has laud almost during the night. The point is if you want to stay in historical area, there is no chance to be away from these kind of noisy places. So, I could not complaint about this.

The hotel itself is ok. It’s smack in the middle of el centro feet from the clock tower. A little wear and tear, but that’s not a big deal. The room did look nicer on the pictures if I had to be honest. The comforter had a couple of yellow stains on it. The AC unit did not cool very well. I didn’t anticipate nor appreciate that they charge a fee for every visitor you have over. I have family and friends in Cartagena so this was definitely an unexpected inconvenience for me. There is no mention of this fee for guests anywhere online or in the rental agreement they have you sign at check in. I discussed it with the staff there and they agreed with me that there was no mention of the fee anywhere but refused to waive it. I’ve stayed in bocagrande before, particularly in the Estellar and the prices for both hotels are about the same only the estellar is MUCH nicer. Personally, I’ll look at other hotel options and just take taxis to el centro next time I visit my family and friends there.

Everything was great. The front desk, staff, restaurant, the security and the cleaning staff did a great job. I felt safe and welcomed.

We rented 9 rooms for 8 days. The staff was really helpful and very accommodating, especially Benjamin, Daniella, Victor, Sara, Christian, Albert, & Antonio. Thank you all for a fabulous trip!!

Hotel room smelled of mildew, blind was broke, no face towels, room was super loud -construction and activities outside of window. I asked for a room change no availability. Side note Victor was great and upgraded me to a balcony room it was just too loud

The location is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly. I was assigned a room with humidity issues and I contacted the staff. I got a dehumidifier in my room that greatly improved the problem

It's a basic property - nothing fancy.. good staff, good location.. we booked a room with a view - the pictures show the room having a balcony but it doesn't have one, so a bit misleading. It was really loud at night, so if you're a light sleeper, do not book here. The shower in our room was leaking and the room was out of toiletries (also we didn't bother requesting for refills). All in all, a fairly basic no-frills property.

This hotel is located next to the main square. It is loud and was difficult to sleep. You could hear music outside until 4am, then another guest was playing music from 5am to 530am, then the fire alarm went off at 7am.

I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. I had a balcony room which was a great window of the almost 24/7 happenings of plaza de la coches. I found the room neat and tidy everyday and the overall condition of the building I would say is very good for this property and it’s environs. The staff, especially the front desk managers and onsite restaurant staff, are very friendly and accommodating and are a strong factor in my high rating for the property. Also, I was very impressed with both the breakfast buffet and regular meal choices found on the menu. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved that everything was within walking distance. Great choices for food and entertainment. Easy access to boat/ferries for excursions. Close distance to CTG airport.
