The hotel and staff were great and the food was very good, even the buffets were better than average. Only downsides no shuttle service for non-platinum guests and I had selected an ocean view room and they had none to offer! Swear i paid more too! The front desk lady (Amina?) managed to get me an upper floor king suite though which was very nice. Oh and they were lacking decent entertainment.

The concept is great the stuff was very helpful yet took a very long time to get what we we’re asking for for example our laundry took 3 days where when I called and asked they said that will have it by the end of the same day for us. Overall was not bad and impressed but it wasn’t horrible either it was an average experience

We had the most incredible vacation, this property is an absolute dream, its very clean, staff is super attentive and very friendly. They clean the beach every morning to assure everything is perfect for their guest, we loved all the dinning options, you do have to make a reservation ahead but its very worth it. We had breakfast at the buffet every morning, little snacks and finger foods at the platinum lobby with some drinks after swimming. Make sure that if you get the platinum, you taje advantage of your free spa day, we felt so pampered and luxurious every singke day. Alwats tip your staff and be polite to them! We saw a few people being rude and impatient, we are all here on vacation to relax, wait your turn and be nice, the staff is always willing to solve any issues. They speak broken english so be soft spoken, speak slow and clear, i promise you, the staff will make your experience 100x better. The property offers shuttles that take you on a shopping tour and shuttles that will take you to Playa del Carmen 5th Avenue, but be ready to be bombarded with street vendors trying to sell you stuff they're very pushy and some if them touchy, my advise is, if you dont want to deal with this , stay in the resort , the property offers many little shops and have a little market on Thursday nights that make shopping easier that going out. We want to shout out Rodolfo at La Hacienda, he was incredibly nice, so welcoming and made our dinning experience feel luxurious! Thank you all!

Did like the amenities offered around the property. many activities to do. Recommend getting the platinum services, convenient room service and drink service at the beach side. will be coming again.

Beautiful resort. The Coatis break into your rooms and will steal food right off your plate if you're not careful. Food is Average at the Buffett. The hibachi and Italian restaurants were delicious with amazing service. I suggest the lobby bars as are they are less busy and service is better. The pool bartenders are very friendly. They are so busy as it's a huge resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it's beautiful atmosphere.

For the price was a bad experience, they charge you for premium wifi, first time we ever have yo pay for having wifi, some of the staff were super rude, one of the days that we were there all the employees went on strike for the all day and we didn’t have room services for 2 days which we pay extra for room service and premium drinks, which we didn’t had and when the staff when on strike only one restaurant was working for all the guest there and food was poor, phones in our room wasn’t working for 2 days the bathtub also didn’t work at the beginning overall was a really bad experience, service and we did g event get compensation for the days that the staff wasn’t working, very bad everything,

The 1st 5 days of the trip was just fine, the property needs some work we were there. 20 months ago and it's not nearly as nice as it was then. The biggest complaint was on Thursday, Friday morning the staff went on strike, all restaurants were closed except one buffet and the food wasn't good like it normally was and the lines were horrible. They had no pool or beach bars open, taco and burgers stands closed, no room cleaning staff, no kids club, ice cream shop or entertainment by the pool. We are pretty upset about that paying almost $500 a night and eating at the same subpar buffet for 5 meals in a row was not my idea of a all inclusive 4 star resort.

I liked the property and how clean everything was. The food was okay but a bit of both under and overcooked seafoods.

Highly recommend the swim out rooms, staff are constantly cleaning and doing maintenance to upkeep the beautiful resort. Entertainment was great, the beach is gorgeous. If you eat outside be prepared to be swarmed by Coatis (could be incorrect spelling). There are ridiculous people who put their towels out on chairs at 6am and only use them for maybe 2 hours a day. We had the same family take up 2 cabanas across from our room the entire week we were there and they barely used them but with a swim out room we didn’t care! Would definitely go back. The only upsetting part was the ice parlour was only for family wrist bands.

I recently stayed at a property in Mexico and had a pleasant experience overall. The property is well-kept, with beautiful gardens that are meticulously maintained. The pools are decent but could use some attention, as they are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The food was satisfactory, although I was expecting more flavor, especially coming from a Latino background. The Mexican à la carte restaurant was a bit disappointing in that regard, but the steakhouse, Vaquería, was fantastic and definitely a highlight of the dining options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which added to the overall positive experience. However, the only part I did not like was the upselling that they constantly tried to do while we were at the hotel. They pushed for additional purchases like photos, tours, and upgrades. We had already spent a lot of money to come to this hotel, and it felt like they were trying to make us spend even more. The lady who checked us in was more focused on selling the platinum bracelet than ensuring our room was okay. Unfortunately, when we got to our room, it was quite disappointing—it was dirty, with dust everywhere, a grimy bathroom, and a refrigerator door that was filthy. We had to move to a different room around midnight after traveling for about 16 hours with two children, which was exhausting. The beach is stunning, although navigating the rocks can be challenging. Despite this, the natural beauty of the location makes
