All hotel was under renovation so everything was messy. Breakfast was a self serviced with very poor since restaurant was also under remodeling.

The hotel was convenient to the motorway. The parking was adequate. The room was squashed and not what we ordered. We asked for a double room but got given a triple with the double bed up against the wall underneath a bunk so the person on the inside could not get out without disturbing the person on the outside. The receptionist on arrival was far from friendly. His manner was that we were an inconvenience. On the other hand the receptionist the following morning was delightful and spent time looking at a map with us showing us where to visit and park in Liege.

For the price and location it was a decent enough hotel. Good for a one night stop. Staff were friendly, the breakfast was what you need to start the day.

No smoking building but this is not enforced - I was woken by the smell of cigarette smoke and had to fight off a serious allergic reaction to said smoke (had I not woken up, I would not be here to write this review). Due to this and the attitude of the receptionist, I would not recommend this establishment. I do not recommend this establishment for solo female travellers either.

Cleanliness and services were ok. Amenities a bit less due to lack of storage place in the room and not enough clothing hangers. Wet towels compete with coats for space! The ventilation noise is a problem, too loud for a good night sleep! Free parking is the good thing!

We use this hotel as our base when in liege due to the cost. We are a team of 15 people usually & although this hotel is not somewhere to stay If you want luxury, it is good for somewhere to lay your head. Most rooms are triples & the cost is low. There are lovely restaurants close by one across the road and one around the back of the hotel which we love to visit. We don't get breakfast at the hotel as it is just a croissant and a drink but there is a supermarket/shopping centre 5 minutes walk where we go for breakfast in a cafe & there is a McDonald's around the back (need to drive about 2 minutes) so we have no issues there. There is a free water refill station also. Can't really fault the hotel because it is so cheap & the staff are good.

When I went to enquire about the room the lady tried giving us air refreshner that worked terribly, and said that all other rooms were booked. When I came back only the night clerck was left, who after hearing about my asthma history apparently conjured up a room (still a smoking room) that luckily smelt a bit less terrible. Add that up to the fact that the bed consisted of a wooden board with a poor mattress and that the breakfast buffet was largely gone at 8:30 even though it lasted until 10 and you have the most horrible stay you’ll have in your life.

The room was too small, poor location and terrible service and breakfast. I am surprised that Expedia would be even advertising this hotel. I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied with this booking and I will contact Expedia to share my concerns

Budget as part of the name naturally implies basic accommodation, but it does not justify dirty and smelly room(s) (we had 2), garbage scattered on the grass outside, strange brownish marks on the toilet wall!?!. The best thing I can say was we got a smoking room, unfortunately none of us are smokers!!
