It's close to Lake Ashi and public transportation. It's on a street with many eateries.

I left early as I have safety concerns about this hostel, they were kind enough to refund me for the nights I didn't stay. It's a very new hostel, still renovating and does not have staff. There is no staff to check you in or verify your booking, instead, they have an "open check-in system" where at 4pm a sheet of paper is placed at the common area that lists your room number. The door is wide open throughout the day which means just about anyone can come in if they wanted to. It felt unsafe. The facilities are renovated in a cheap way – mattresses are too wide to fit in the frame, floors in the bathroom would sink, lights keep randomly turning off in the shower. There is only one plug in the room so you need to go to the living room for extra charging. When I was there, a female cleaning staff seemed to have relations with a male guest. She shared the female dorm with me, the male guest would come into our female dorm and asked if he could join her for the night. If you're ok with just paying for a bed to sleep, it's probably fine. Overall it was a very strange place and do not recommend.

･シャワー時にライトがすぐ消える。 ･シャワールームの排水が悪く足元にせっけん液が溜まり、気持ち悪い。 ･シャワー時に着替えスペースに籠もフックもなく、濡れた所に服を置かなければならなかった。 ･ベッドルームにスマホ充電用のコンセントがなく、しかも建物全体でのコンセント数が少なくてコンセント位置も悪い。 ･ベッドルームに安物のハンガーでも何本か置いてほしい。 ･ベッド枕元に灯りがない！なぜ？ ･中国茶のセットがあったがウェルカムドリンクなのか説明なく、不親切。 ･テーブルにバスケットを置いてあるが意味不明で邪魔。

元箱根から箱根神社に行く途中にあります。とてもよい場所です。芦ノ湖にも近いし、バス停の近くにはローソンがあるし、色々便利です。 一階には大きな談話室があり、冷蔵庫や炊事塲もあります。談話室も部屋も清潔です。

WiFiがありませんでしたが、近いうちに開設されるようです。ロッカーはないので、荷物はきちんと管理しなければなりませんが、ベッドが少し広いので、小さなリュックくらいならベッドに入れて一緒に寝ても困りません。 ベッドの中にはコンセントがありませんが、部屋にも談話室にもあちこちにコンセントがあるので、充電は何とかなります。 なお、昼はともかく、朝と夜は食事するところがないので、食べ物は必携です。
