Great modern accomodation, close to everything,

Very good location, in close proximity to the seafront, restaurants, shops and activities. The grounds are very well maintained - most of the properties are undergoing refurbishment it seems, and they look very fresh. There are several entry points to the apartments, which is very convenient. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony facing with sea view. It would have been nice to equip the apartment with some "Basics" such as dish soap, salt, pepper etc - there is absolutely nothing in it, so be prepared to buy everything even for a short stay. There was supposed to be heated pool, but both pools were equally cold - it would have been nice if one of them were heated as it wasn't warm enough to bathe in either. There is also little control over people "reserving" lounge chairs in the pool area with towels and then going off to do something else (mostly breakfast), only to return hours later. There aren't that many loungers, so it would be great if this was better checked by the staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend this structure.

Fabulous complex, very small. Great apartment though could do with a couple of small things like a bread knife/sharp knife and a teapot! The sheets and towels were changed a bit too regularly for me, so not that environmentally friendly. All staff very polite and happy to help.

Nice place. Apartment had everything we needed. Grounds are maintained and the security is good. Short stroll to the beach and lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The only fault was selfish idiots putting their towels on the sun beds and leaving them empty for the best part of the day. I know this isn’t the hotel’s fault, it’s just stupid people but it is frustrating when you want sun bed and there are 20 lying empty but “reserved”.

Location was excellent, only meters from beach, restaurants, supermarket and shops. Overall the accommodation was great, lovely gardens and pools and although was looking a bit tired and rundown on arrival, things were being tidied, painted and fixed up during our stay. They have afterall had a hard time of it recently. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which had good choice and was fine. Overall a great resort with a nice feel.

The food served was o.k. The property is packed at its limits, some of the bungalows are quite old but very clean. Thumbs up for the friendly staff.

The resort is located right at the beach in close proximity of many restaurants. I don‘t like the fact that dinner does not even includes water. All drinks cost extra.

Beautiful complex ,well maintained and very clean the meandering pools round the complex are so pretty . The staff were very attentive . You could not be any closer to Fañabé Beach . We had a spacious villa (1024) with views of the beach and we even had key access to the main promenade walk way . We stayed bed and breakfast only there was plenty of choice and more than good enough all inclusive is an option but there are so many lovely restaurants to chose from it would be shame to miss out on them would definitely return there

Lagos de Fanabe looks like a lovely resort. HOWEVER, having booked through expedia we arrived to be checked into the hotel next door. We complained but were told that the hotel we booked was full so we had been moved next door and there was nothing they could do about it. Los Olivos next door is a serviceable enough resort but a very different style and much less exclusive. Our unit had a broken door lock, tiles coming up off the floor, the stair rail falling off, the plaster exposed, sofa broken, laminate peeling off the table - the list goes on. Needless to say we were not happy and pursued the matter with management and expedia. We did ultimately get SOME of our money back but not enough to make the experience worthwhile. It became very evident during our stay, and talking to staff that this was not a one-off "error" as others were in the same situation. Interestingly, you could still book 3 rooms at Lagos de Fanabe for the same nights we were there and being told it was "fully booked". I suspect very strongly that the management are selling rooms at the very nice Lagos de Fanabe resort and just moving people to the resort next door when this gets full - if you really kick up stink they give you an upgrade to all inclusive/free sun-lounger on the beach/partial refund down to the value of the lesser resort - either way, they win! Reception are slow. From what we saw, Lagos de Fanabe is a very nice resort but there's no guarantee that you'll end up staying in it

Just a hotel. The only problem was noisy cleaners trolleys and no wifi. Breakfast were very poor. Don't take breakfast, if possible. After one week I moved to the hotel at the opposite side of the road and got free wifi at room and no money wasted for hotel's breakfast.

The location near Fanabe beach is excellent for clean and well serviced beach. Near shops and restaurants plenty of choice to eat and drink, lots of english would prefer more authentic spansish cuisine. No top class restauarants found but adequate enough - prices sometimes steep for quality and unable to find really good white wines. Room was spacious and had great sea view, reception very helpful. Room sfae large and very handy. Rooms need re-decor and modernising but good value for money. Entertainment each night ok, typical spanish hotel style, plenty of karaoke bars if wanted further along the sea front. Lots of kids round pool but very close to beach. Would go again.

Very nice place, food very good with an impresive selection(as much as you can eat) rooms were clean and well kept. only down side to this hotel was no road access to the reception area, it is situated in a pedestrian precinct . this made it difficult to find even with a map. but never the less when we did eventualy find it and settled in it was worth the effort.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel,All the staff were very friendly & helpful.The rooms are very nice and the kitchen was well equipped.We were half board and the food was nice,with plenty of choice.It is situated very close to all the amenities of the resort.Don't bother with hiring the tv aerial you only get 2 channels in english,a news channel & a sports channel!! The safe is good value for money & you can get plenty in it ( I had my laptop in there).This hotel is good value for money & we will be staying here again.

We have just returned from a week at Lagos de Fanabe and we were very disappointed, our first impression was spoilt by a very unhelpful receptionist, we checked in ok but were not told about all the little extras. After unpacking I returned to reception and told him the TV did not work and he then said I had to hire an aerial lead for 10 euros, not that the cost mattered but he could have told us this to start with, I then turned on TV only to find we had no remote control and TV would not work without it so back again and was then told we had to leave a deposit. So we got ourselves sorted out in our room and then we had to face the buffet meals, we have always eaten out previously and if this is an example of normal buffet meals we will not do it again. The food was very unappetising, greasy aand only warm and then when you put your warm food on a cold plate it got worse. So after trying the meals for a couple of days paying extra for half board we ate out most evenings. Thre rooms were cleaned every day bar one, well actually there was maid service but after walking around the apartment in the evening without slippers our feet were filthy. We certainly would not recommend this complex to anyone.

We spent four nights...our honeymoon...here. We found the apartments wonderfully located for bars, restaurants and the beach. The pool areas were interestingly arranged, allowing relative quietness within a quite large complex.The dining was adequate, though not fantastic. Loads of restaurants nearby and a good kitchen facility means you can eat wherever, whenever.Really enjoyed our stay, would go back with (or without!) the kids!!
