The pool was lovely, the temp was a little on the warm side for summer but unfortunately too many people reserving sun beds

The accommodation was really nice. Nice, comfy beds, kitchen had most of the things we needed for cooking at home. The bathrooms had complimentary creams and washes etc. washer and dryer. towels for the pool/beach too. Gym great for me at 7 months pregnancy with free weights up to 10kg, a couple of kettle bells, a step, cardio equipment, towels etc. but no good for my fit hubby. The pool was great. Big ‘beach’ area which was great for our toddler and for me just lazing around on. Pool temp perfectly warm for a person that hates cold pools lol
Negatives - biggest one is the annoying overselling of Club Wyndham. We didn’t have any interest in going to the 1.5 hour meeting. They tried to lock me in with it when checking in, which was annoying, as we had just driven 4 hours in the car and my toddler was losing it. When I didn’t give them a time they ended up calling 2-3 times every day to the room phone. Most of the time I was trying to get a toddler down for a nap or sleep etc (midday calls, 8pm calls etc) so never answered. It was just annoying as I shouldn’t have to put up with the hard sell. You told me about it. If I wanted to take part I would have said. It puts me off going to another Wyndham to be honest.
Other than that, when we arrived the previous people in the accommodation had obviously left prawns in the bin prior the place stunk of prawns. Not enough dishwasher or laundry powder supplied. Place got quite humid if no air con on. Pubes left in shower after cleaning

I have stayed her previously and it was great, hence why I booked again. The first time I stayed, my room was more modern than this time, however the booking was the same. The room I had this time was older, but still nice. However the shower was over a bath. I am quite tall and I had to crouch so my head didn't hit the ceiling above the bath when showering.

Everything from check in to check out was great. The room & location was fantastic. Would highly recommend there on site restaurant, Henry's, the food was terrific. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Port Macquarie 👍

Room had everything I needed and was very clean. Pool area and Henry’s restaurant were excellent. Nice and relaxing sitting by the pool, nice walk to the beach. Only issue, be prepared for the pressure from staff to join Timeshare, they got a bit upset when I said not interested. Just wish they are up front about it from the start, instead of making it sound like something else. It made me feel like it was a scam, the whole way they went about it and the initial secrecy.

It was awesome. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the apartment was beautiful. It had everything we needed and was clean.
The only be thing I would suggest is a small vacuum in the room to use. Especially when back from the beach so we could clean up ourselves a bit. And the ability to rebook for next year on checkout. The dates we’re open when the girls at the front desk checked.

I didnt realise it was a time share club and that i was going to be asked a number of times to attend a 1.5 hr meeting about it during my stay. I wasnt willing to do it but was asked 3 times anyway. When the club is available on external booking sites, it should say it is one of those clubs. Other than that it was a fabulous place.

The staff where energetic and friendly.
They rang the day before to tell us what time was check-in.
Offered us the facilities available until our room was ready,& suggested some family fun activities.

Hotel was rather noisy with the bedroom adjacent to the hallway where people's voices could easily be heard throughout the night

Our one night stay was very pleasant. Quite impressed with the size of a one bedroom apartment. Pity the resort didn't offer free wifi and a lift to carry all the luggage. Lovely pool and spa area.
