Bad smell, weird guests, never cleaned the room, oily coffee at breakfast... according to my colleagues staying at similar 3 stars within same date, lack of maintaining and poor service is a common situation for the hotel sector in Punta del Este. I would not want to be cruel, and I guess pandemics impacted severely the sector that has not recovered.

Issues with the toilet not flashing amongst a couple of other things. Disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap hotel.

I was a bit concerned reading the previous reviews, but the hotel wasn’t that bad. Sure it needs some improvements, but being the cheapest one, it was to e expected. Staff was very nice and breakfast decent.
I actually extended my stay by 1 more night.

Perfect location, close to the beach, restaurants, port. Breakfast OK. The room equipment could have been updated as it is a little obsolete but it is still a great value for the money. Would stay here again.

Well, this hotel certainly will be remembered by me and my husband as THE worst hotel. Not only was it smelly and disgustingly dirty, it was EXPENSIVE! Do not let the photos mislead you. The photos looked nice and I thought we should stay at a nice place during our stay in Punta Del Este, and everything is pretty expensive there anyway, but I wish we would have paid more to stay somewhere clean. Luckily we only stayed 1 night, but we seriously thought about sleeping in our rental car. This hotel desperately needs to be updated. The carpets are very dirty and the rooms are as well. The lobby smells like body odor and the rooms smell like a toilet. Disgusting. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in hostels to 5 star hotels and everything in between. On this trip we were traveling through Chile-Argentina-Uruguay-Brazil for 1 month, so we stayed in several places, and really it was that awful. Cheap hostels we stayed in were much cleaner and better taken care of. I do not recommend staying here at all. The staff was also quite a dissapointment. They were dressed in street clothes, no uniforms, and just lounging around reading magazines and playing on the computer.

What this hotel may lack was made up in location. Take room 201. Has great balcony. Remember this is an adventure. 2 blocks from they beach.
