I loved staying at Bahia Principe Fantasia with my 2 year old daughter and my mom. Since we got there, there were many activities for her and also for the adults. The food was good as well. The room was clean and had the view of the main pool, which we loved. the experience was amazing and I will definitely go back soon. The only thing that needs a little of improvement is how employees treat guests. Some of them were very nice and helpful, but others they simply ignored us. For example, we got to the beach and the person in charge of the towels wasn’t there. So we asked someone else for help and that person looked at us and turned around. We had to ask 3x and he finally said okay I will go call someone. Also, our room curtains were broken and we had to use a hair pin to put it together, other than that the experience was a 9/10. My daughter had the most fun and the beach, pool and activities.

Pools are good. And that’s an about all. Food was average , all dining areas were not sufficiently ACd . No one really spoke English . My daughter got flea bites all over her leg from sheets

We were a group of 25 for my mother in law’s birthday. Great place for kids to have fun, the staff is really nice, everyone was very friendly and attentive to me and kids all day specially at the pool and pool bars and buffet. The food was 5/10..not great at all. The a la carte Garden Circus restaurant was very nice, the food was 6.5/10, but the staff was sooo nice, funny and friendly. They made us feel very welcome and made our birthday dinner very special with singing and dancing with us. They upgraded my room but we ended up in a room with a broken AC and after someone came to “fix it” twice it still wouldn’t work. They offered a room change 3 days later but it was already too late for us, not worth moving all our stuff. the last 2 days we had water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom and the hallway so there was a poddle of water when we woke up one day The beach area is very nice, you have to take a shuttle (comes every few mins) since its not a waterfront property, but very easy to get there (its like a 10min walk) Had a massage at the spa and it was amazing! Totally recommend The night entertainment is nice, especially on Circus Day! Overall, the 6 children in our group, Ages 5-10, had an incredible time! If you’re looking for a place for kids I totally recommend.

AC was leaking for 3 days. The maintenance guy fixed it 3 times, they had no other room available. The food was not authentic to the Dominican culture, hotdogs and burgers, the only decent food was at the buffet. The only nice thing about the resort is the number of pools you have access too. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to individuals with children.

Very clean, great activities for the kids, check out the kids club, shows excellent, food was great and staff members at the kitchen, buffet and restaurants were exceptional and very connected to the guests.

Great property great for families rooms could use some update but not bad at all. Food is OK not the best but definitely doable. Really enjoyed my time with my family. Will definitely be going back again.

As soon as we walked through the lobby we were greeted with extraordinary service Juan from the front desk really went above and beyond, that type of service is extremely hard to find and as long as he is still working there we will for sure be back. Melvin from Utopia bar was also fantastic, the customer service and attention to detail was unforgettable. Thank you

We took our 2 toddlers to the Bahia Principe Fantasia resort and we all had a great time. The staff were all really nice and accommodating. Where we stayed was a short walk to the beach and right next to the pool and the water park. The staff did a great job entertaining the kids and keeping the grounds beautiful and safe. Getting towels and chairs were super easy. Tons of amazing food options. The pool and water park were well kept and clean. What we didn’t love was the tile that was literally everywhere. It wasn’t textured at all and it was super slippery and my kids kept falling. I was really glad that we brought their water shoes to give them more traction. They are toddlers and as much as we say “walking feet” they aren’t going to listen perfectly every time. We didn’t love the room we stayed in. The beds were very uncomfortable. We made it work but we were shocked by how uncomfortable the beds were. We also didn’t love the fact that there was only 1 American outlet in the room that worked. There was another outlet but it didn’t work. All of the others were European outlets. We would absolutely stay again. None of the cons were bad enough to deter us from staying again but we will keep them in mind.
